Dissatisfied with this product, bad to use.

I skated on a set of 6,000 km in 5 months. Rear tread - 35% wear Front to zero! Protector 3.8 mm. I used to drive on the 6th series, and even earlier on the 5th for 3 seasons, but on this one . What is there to say. I am upset with this line of tires, the old versions were much better and they kept the road confidently on the ice.

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

My best choice! Comfortable winter studless tire. I always dressed with a creak in the winter, so you get very tired from the rustle of thorns (for me, one of the most obvious disadvantages of winter). Now the issue is resolved. There is no noise from the word at all, it holds the road both in rain and snow conditions (in St. Petersburg winter is changeable and this is very important). Nice plush. When buying a bonus, I received free tire fitting and insurance.

Pros
  • Silence Controllability Ride comfort
Cons
  • Until I felt it.

I took it in 19, made in Germany, I was surprised by the silence and softness. Holds excellent and rowing in porridge and snow. On clear ice, the ABS sometimes works, slows down and the car is controlled predictably. Out of the rut comes out great. The spikes braked much worse. Skated 4 winters, tread 6.5-7mm. Tinkof gave cashback for NM 6% plus the price fell, took a new set))) and these are in the season on ebay. I recommend to all!

Pros
  • Holds better than spikes. Soft. Quiet.
Cons
  • Price.

195/65 15 golf7 Before that, there was a Michelin x-ice non-studded. Summer put michelin pilot sport. As a matter of fact, now I also wanted to put a bear, I was only embarrassed by the fact that in St. Petersburg all the bears are of the 16th year of release. In the 18th year, I wanted something fresher. In addition, an ated ContiViking is coming out. I think why not try. By the way, at the time of November, it was not so easy to find a Viking in St. Petersburg. I even called the regional…

Pros
  • silence

The second time I choose Velcro for winter tires. Because the car does not have a spare wheel (bmw f30), then it is limited to RunFlat tires. Chose Continental ContiVikingContact 7 SSR (225/50 R17). After installation, the overall impressions are positive. It rides confidently on snowy slush, on wet, slightly icy asphalt, too. I have not tried clean ice, because. winter has just begun. I think it will be no worse than Pirelli Ice Zero FR (RunFlat). In general, there are a lot of reviews on…

Pros
  • Made in Germany (SSR is not made in 2022), Scandinavian clutch. Detailed impression in the comments
Cons
  • A couple of times on porridge with ice, abs worked during heavy braking, but not critical. Addition of a review dated 02/13/2023 in the comments

Great value for money, one of the best offers.

Rubber is impressive. After the spikes, really impressive. The first days went straight with delight. The driving experience is completely different. In general, I moved to the Continental VikingContact 7 225/45 R17 with the usual studded Gislaved NF 100 with a dimension of 205/55 R16 (before I rode Continental ContiIceContact). The difference from the first meters. Firstly, there are no more slipping sounds (I generally keep quiet about howling and hum at speed, it doesn’t exist), we start…

Pros
  • 1) Very quiet, up to 60 km / h the silence is complete, at 120 km / h the sound of air is slightly audible, I can’t say exactly where the sound from the wheels came from. 2) Very soft, even at -38 you touch it soft soft 3) Confidently accelerates and slows down, it feels somewhere between premium and average levels of studding. At traffic lights on asphalt with ice, it starts off like everyone else on spikes. 4) Braking is confident, but the overall behavior is very different from the spikes, you need to get used to it. I'll describe the difference below. 5) It blows some kind of premium from the habits of this tire.
Cons
  • If you change from spikes, there is a feeling on the pavement that you are constantly driving on shallow, loose snow (so quiet and soft), during the first days when maneuvering it even seems that the rubber is floating and reacts less sharply to the steering wheel, but perhaps the reason is in the increased comfort.

I bought tires in October 2022. The tires themselves were made in early 2022 in Germany. Installed on new alloy wheels. Weights on one wheel 10-20, on others up to 30 grams. Experience of using 2 weeks on dry pavement with temperatures from -3 to +10. When I put it on the car, I thought that there was already ice under the wheels, although it was +10 on the street and dry asphalt. Apparently, the rubber is treated with something for storage. This oil (preservative) was wiped off in about 50-60…

Pros
  • Handles well, almost like summer tires Excellent braking qualities Almost no noise (there is noise from certain asphalt, although the asphalt looked smooth)
Cons
  • Until I discovered

The right product for me, there were no problems.

An ideal option for those who need RunFlat, silence and smoothness at a reasonable price. Got pros: Based on the results of the 2022-2022 season, I can say that this is an excellent winter tire for the city. Very quiet and soft, it showed its qualities remarkably both on asphalt with frost and in wet slush. The noise from the rubber appeared somewhere at a speed of 70 km / h (for comparison, on summer Bridgestones it already occurs at a speed of 40 km / h). It showed itself perfectly on the…

Average purchase, there is something to complain about.

I skated them for 1 season, in general, the tires are well-controlled, soft and not noisy, but at the same time they emit a kind of howl when driving, which personally annoys me. At the same time, I can immediately say that these are not hubs and not a box, but tires. After a thousand km, they subsided a little, but still this rumble is a little present. The rest is normal, but the sediment from the howl remained.

Pros
  • Controllability
Cons
  • howls protector

There were winter goodyears (they came with the car, the tires were 10 years old), finished the winter, took the Continental Conti Premium Contact 6 for the summer, it became much quieter in the cabin. Then for the winter I also took new ones, also a Continental Conti Viking contact 7. I did not notice a difference in noise between the summer and winter Continentals. Initially, I didn’t want to scratch the asphalt with spikes for half a year (in St. Petersburg), so I wanted clutches. They brake

Pros
  • Quiet Handling is predictable
Cons
  • No

Revainrating 3 out of 5

There are deviations, in general it is tolerable.

I'll put it on the car soon and check it, especially for noise. . Rubber surprisingly turned out to be very quiet, now I hear those sounds from the engine that I did not hear on the summer Pirreli Zero and the winter Nokian R1. It holds just as well on icy asphalt and in slush, there has been little snow yet, but it rows confidently, even in 10 cm of snow. The Discovery 4 car is all-wheel drive, so it also has a good grip on the friction tires. Addition after snowfalls and a frost. If there is…

Pros
  • A very soft rubber compound, even hands get dirty with soot, which means that in cold weather it will adequately slow down and row . A year later it is no longer soft !
Cons
  • A year has passed, the price of rubber has increased, but the properties of tires have changed dramatically.
