    There is no mobile app that works with it. Update 4/2/2020

    Epever controller user manual says it is connected to a mobile phone. I am buying this cable and a USB adapter to connect to my phone. My phone supports OTG. But there is no mobile app that works with it. 😟 I found a download of their Android software EPEVER(SPP)V2.1.9.apk but it doesn't support Tracer AN series.

    Summary: Terrible radio range, with the unit in the garage I couldn't get more than 1 number away like it was 2 rooms without connection. The device cannot connect if it is CLOSE TO the device. Conclusion: I returned the WiFi model and will try the Bluetooth model instead. WLAN rating 1 star, not recommended.     If you want to be the coolest guy on the block, get this bluetooth device. Otherwise it's useless

    I only gave this article two stars because there is no value in going to the control panel and scrolling through info suggestions. Since Bluetooth only works up to 35 feet away, I can stand up and look at the control panel. It is not possible to change the Bluetooth device settings. I bought the wired version but the proposed software doesn't work properly.

    You cannot remotely control your solar panel with this.

    This device has its own Wi-Fi that your phone needs to connect to and has a range of only about 50 feet. Therefore, you need to disconnect your phone from other Wi-Fi networks and connect it to the one projected by this device. Actually I would give it an 1 but it really does exactly what it claims to do but I gave it a low rating because it doesn't do what I (and looking at other people's comments) thought it did.     Renogy does not help customers at all! Do not buy!

    Worst company ever! I emailed them 2 times, sent a message on Instagram and got no reply! No direction at all! So. This is a battery temperature sensor to ensure it doesn't overheat while charging. Well the problem is that if you mobilize your panels like I do because I camp in the shade they don't reach the charger. You will need to extend the cable as long as necessary to access the panels or charger. You will also need one per battery if you have 2 batteries and then connect them together as

    This is a piece of f****** bullshit, all settings in web interface are ignored, explicitly says to use it in client mode as AP mode is unstable -- but the firmware on this device doesn't allow it. Unfortunately you need an additional device to setup the voltage regulation on your mppt controller. .     It does the job as advertised and if you want to change the Wi-Fi settings on your smart device every time you want to use it you can check the status of your trickle charge controller. (In my opinion this would not be practical).     I am using the device on a 10 amp EPever TRACER 1210AN series controller. This device acts as a wifi hotspot without internet connection, just as a controller. To use this device, you MUST use a mobile phone or tablet with the app installed on it.
