🌞 Covercraft Custom Sunscreen UV11310SV for Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra Models - Silver Review

Not sure what to complain about, every sunscreen has cracks. Bought for my 2016 Silverado and yes there is about a half inch clearance on either side and a little more clearance around the rearview mirror. Overall the fit is fantastic, installation is great and the durability of this device will last it longer than any other screen. Later I'll tell you how cool he is holding the truck, I live in Texas so I can definitely tell the difference.

Goes well with my GMC 2500HD without lane change warning. I've owned several of these for different vehicles over the years and they all fit about the same. Small cutouts on the sides for cleaning the A-pillars and a central cutout for cleaning the mirror. Other brands and styles may have a tighter fit, but I love Covercraft's foldable storage feature. It's a lot easier to work with than folding and rolling which means I'm more likely to use it.

Product is well made and appears to be quite durable but I returned it very disappointed. It doesn't cover the entire windshield, but for the price it should. I called Covercraft for two reasons: First, to see if this is normal as I was told. Another was why that is and they replied not to scratch the A-pillars. This must be written in the product description. Sorry, I'm sending back Covercraft! Make one that fits my 2018 Silverado windshield perfectly and I will buy it.

I bought it after the bubble fell apart. Very high quality finish and fits perfectly on the windshield. Open the shade fully, press the end against the underside of the windshield and rotate up. It doesn't touch the mirror and blocks about 98% of the sunlight. To make room for the hinge under the mirror, the sun enters from the U-shaped side of the blinds. I would try this to get the benefit of folding instead of twisting. But I am not satisfied with their execution of this design. The surface is actually not reflective enough and absorbs a lot of heat energy instead of reflecting it back. In addition, the substrate is black and thus acts as a heat sink, dissipating any heat from the reflector side to the rear. As a result, the temperature in the car does not drop noticeably. Nice shade but a bit pricey for what it is. They're a little prouder than they should be. I watched a video of this product before ordering and it looks like it was made specifically for this car. The entire windshield was covered from edge to edge. That was one of the selling points for me.
