Easy to install and much better than the remote control. Although it's a different brand, it worked with my Kensgrove 72" brushed nickel LED ceiling fan. Couldn't be happier.

The remote control is included, it is NOT the one shown. In the photo there is a light and direction control, the block that comes with it only controls the light. To flip a delivered device, you must disassemble it to access the button in the battery compartment.

Exactly what I needed. My fan is 10 years old and was so happy to find this remote control. I have duct tape on it. The only difference is that the back is under the battery compartment and not on the remote like my old one. never mind Very happy with the purchase.

If you search for Kensgrove DC fan wall controller on the internet, you come here. Don't do that, this wall switch uses DIP selector switches to select the frequency. The Kensgrove DC fan does not use this system. I tried all possible 16 combinations. Don't let another review change you.

Can't comment on the functionality of the remote itself. As another reviewer mentioned, this DOES NOT WORK with the Home Decorators 72" Kengsrove fan from Home Depot. Old reviews say it will be, but I believe it was an old version of this fan. The Kensgrove fan only works with handheld remotes.

We bought a house with six Craftmade ceiling fans, only two of which had a remote control. It was easy to set up the DIP switches so each remote could control multiple fans, but it quickly became tiresome to bring a remote from another room to adjust the fan in the room I was in.
