Great product but there are no instructions on the dispenser.

Whilst the blades were excellent there were no instructions on how the donor could access these blades. This eventually allowed me to remove the blade and it has been working ever since, but I got there by accident and have no idea why it was working. Print out some instructions on the box that really work!

The blades are good - the packaging is too greasy

the blades are excellent but the body and all the blades were filled with oil. Like I couldn't even just take it out of the box without getting out paper towels and washing my hands with dish soap. And I don't think I can take the blade out without oiling at least one finger. Again the blades are great and it's a good price for 100 pack but there has to be a better way.

Worst case design

I ordered this in June 2020. The blades are pretty good value for money but they don't seem to stay sharp as long as others I've used. I absolutely hate this thing. The first blade took ages to come out, the next few were a bit easier. I'm finally tired of rushing the blade and berating the damn case. I cut off the top and used duct tape to hold the blades in place. The rating I have given is for the occasion - the blades deserve a higher rating.

Made in the USA best knives, parts and accessories

They're sharp and made of carbon steel. They arrived quickly and are made in the USA but likely use Chinese steel as they are marked "Made in the USA with Global Materials". It's carbon steel, no doubt, and the blades are tough enough to snap or bend, and hold their edge just as well as any budget blade. Many people test sharpness by cutting paper or shaving their hair. To sharpen a knife. For me the easiest way to check this is to bring a sharp edge to the hair at the back of your head and…

Exactly what I needed

I read some comments before buying and someone was confused on how to remove the blades, they said there were no instructions. There is a picture on the back of the box showing how to remove the blades. The first blade requires more pressure, I think this can be a security measure. If you remove the blades the box goes up and I don't think you can replace them. The blades are sharp and seem to fit my jackknife well. I don't know what I'm going to do with 100 blades to be honest but it works for

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Little things

I use a Hyde utility knife holder (I like the shape and weight in my hand) and they fit perfectly. The blades were easily removed from the holder simply by sliding them to the right from the open top. I didn't have to push or anything, just push. I can store extra blades in the handle so I took out a few. I noticed that it took a second or two for the bin to click onto the next one for it to be pulled out. Just look closely at the top and you will be able to tell if the blade is there to slide.
