Description of Cryorig Universal CR R1B Tower Heatsink

CPU Cooler. Air Cooling. DirectCompressTM Soldering for 10% more contact surface compared to traditional soldering, and the more contact surface the faster the heat conduction. Heatpipe Displacement OptimizationTM allows for better and more evenly spread heat conduction on the fins compared to traditional linear alignment. Jet Fin Acceleration SystemTM squeezes airflow and increases exhaust air speed. The increase of airflow speed in our Jet Fin Acceleration SystemTM allows heated air to leave the tower faster.

Huge cooler that will keep 8700k and 70C afloat.

The cooler is gigantic and can hold my 8700k between 65-75 @ 5GHz with no lag. It only outperformed the Meshify C glass panel by a few mm. The 10mm front fans are pretty cool and have no issues with ANY size RAM (I'm using Team Group Dark Pro DDR4) which is 45mm and doesn't become clear when I'm using R1 Ultimate. I was very disappointed that Revain sent me the open box version. where all parts were disassembled except for the radiator itself (there were no fans, brackets and thermal paste in…

Pros
  • Jet Fin Acceleration SystemTM compresses airflow and increases exhaust velocity. By increasing the airflow rate in our Jet Fin Acceleration SystemTM, heated air can exit the tower faster.
Cons
  • Some bugs

Great fan for CPU cooling. Enabled video for audio levels.

Easy assembly. Works well, runs quietly, keeps CPU temperature down. The i7-8700K is without exception, with profiles for 4.2GHz, 4.5GHz and 4.8GHz depending on your needs. Use the supplied thermal compound CP7. The ambient temperature in my house is 24 ° C. The idle temperature is 33-35 ° C, under load 40-45 ° C. It works stably at a frequency of 5.0 GHz, where idle again slightly down to 38-40 ° C increases , and under load 48 -50 C. , but I don't see the point in constantly loading the…

Pros
  • Heatpipe Displacement OptimizationTM distributes heat better and more evenly across the fins than traditional linear alignment.
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Impressive in every way

I'm running a Cryorig R1 Universal on an Intel Core i7-6700k processor on an Asus Maximus Hero VIII motherboard. The cooler setup is perfect and has enough clearance (about 1/16 inch) for 4 Crucial Ballistix Elite DDR4 RAM sticks that have some tall and quite wide heatsinks. Enough space for the side panel of the CM Storm Trooper. At stock speeds I get 28 degrees Celsius in idle mode, under heavy load in the stress test the maximum temperature of the processor is around 67 degrees Celsius, when
