The best roaster I have ever had

A 21 lb turkey fits perfectly on the roaster. This made it fairly easy to remove the turkey from the fryer. Cleaning was easy too, and the fact that it falls apart when you remove the rod holding the two pieces together saves space.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Damaged

AMAZING Dish Rack

This is a very heavy duty coated trivet we bought for our Westinghouse roaster. It easily disassembles for cleaning and storage, and was still able to hold a 24-pound turkey, and then we picked it up and lifted it out of the frypot with two handles. He approaches the brazier as if it were made for it. EXCELLENT PURCHASE!

I'm ready for Turkey Day!

I've wanted a cooking grate for a long time. This little guy sold me because of the ease of use and the need to pin the bird to the cutting board. Simply take the stand and place it on the board, remove the pivot and pull the two halves out from under the bird. Couldn't be easier. This is the first year that I've really looked forward to roasting a turkey!

  • Durable finish

What a great idea with this roaster!

This was a life saver with my best roast rib ever! SO EASY AND NO CABLES, NO STRESS, get prime ribs from the shelf to the plate! LOVE IT! I spray everything in front of my hand with cooking spray and did the same to this rack. It was clean at one point, but what I really like is the SIMPLICITY of covering the main rib, it's awesome! I can't wait to use it with turkey or roast chicken (it easily fits a couple of chickens) or even a big bone in ham!

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • For Old

Keep its weight under 15 pounds for ease of use.

My biggest concern is the lack of weight when roasting larger meals like a 24+ pound turkey. It tends to slip. If the larger piece is hot and the grate is hot, the lack of weight will cause the grate with the piece inside to rise during roasting. The stick you pull out to separate the halves can be difficult to reach and pull out when frying a larger item. This grid is much more effective on smaller, lighter items, which my score would be much higher for.

  • GOLS certified

  • expensive

Where has it been all my life?

I don't know why all bars don't work like this because it made everything so easy. For some reason only turkeys over 20 pounds were available this year. I'm pretty sure the only reason my turkey didn't land on the floor was because of that rack. Transferring the turkey from the pan to the turkey plate was easy because of the handles. However, these days they are on most shelves, so this is not newsworthy. The change to the game, however, is that now you don't have to figure out how to get the…

Great purchase, will use for years.

I read other reviews and thought maybe they or something had a lot of marriage so I got the one I got at over 450 for 2 hours Baked degrees Fahrenheit just to see if the coating has peeled off or if it melted or brought hellfire out of my oven. Nothing. Was undeterred. After cooling and wiping, it looked the same as it came out of the box. So I cooked a 26-pound Thanksgiving turkey with him. Ideal. And, as advertised, I was able to lug everything out of the fryer and straight onto our decorated
