It wasn't that bad to install. Go to YouTube and watch a video on how to do it. Minimum experience required. There were more than enough cables in this set so I didn't have to add any cables. So far there are no problems.

Installation was easy. It takes some time to remove the plates on the back so you can plug them in, and it was also difficult to route the power cable to the battery. If you can lift the car, it's not so bad. Took me about 1.5 hours

This worked great in my Mazda5. This is an install call. My arms and forearms are almost too wide to fit behind the car panels. It took me a while to convince myself that the panel would flex enough to make it work. I would recommend watching a few YouTube videos before starting and one during installation. Also think about extra time. They want to take their time and do things right. After the installation it worked great.

Sooo. I remember reading about this kit and saying it was quick and easy to install. I'm very careful, especially when it comes to my car. So it took me about 3 hours haha. My 2015 CX-9 is very basic. It just took time, a lot of time. Although I've scratched my head about the lead wire to the battery, I STRONGLY recommend taking a bale wire or weed line to fish out the wire, although you might want to then run it from the battery under the front of the car and grab another one piece and start at the back, then connect them together and attach the connector cable and then pull. The connectors on this unit are perfect for my 2011 CX-9. The only thing that was required was cutting the 12v power line for the passenger side accessory outlet, which is a much better option than running wires from the engine bay to the battery.
