Very Good Deal Best in External Accessories

It wasn't that bad to install. Go to YouTube and watch a video on how to do it. Minimum experience required. There were more than enough cables in this set so I didn't have to add any cables. So far there are no problems.

Pros
  • Excellent Design
Cons
  • Communication with Seller

Easy Installation - Wiring

Installation was easy. It takes some time to remove the plates on the back so you can plug them in, and it was also difficult to route the power cable to the battery. If you can lift the car, it's not so bad. Took me about 1.5 hours

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • High Price

Great product, difficult installation

This worked great in my Mazda5. This is an install call. My arms and forearms are almost too wide to fit behind the car panels. It took me a while to convince myself that the panel would flex enough to make it work. I would recommend watching a few YouTube videos before starting and one during installation. Also think about extra time. They want to take their time and do things right. After the installation it worked great.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers

Great T-connector for my CX-9!

Sooo. I remember reading about this kit and saying it was quick and easy to install. I'm very careful, especially when it comes to my car. So it took me about 3 hours haha. But I wanted all the cables to be tucked and tucked away so they wouldn't get caught or move around on the road. I've watched Kurt's videos and YouTube videos. The installation was a bit different, so I combined a few tips from both videos and was very happy with the result. I gave it 4 stars because it's not that fast if…

Wait a while for the battery to connect

My 2015 CX-9 is very basic. It just took time, a lot of time. Although I've scratched my head about the lead wire to the battery, I STRONGLY recommend taking a bale wire or weed line to fish out the wire, although you might want to then run it from the battery under the front of the car and grab another one piece and start at the back, then connect them together and attach the connector cable and then pull. Took me about 1 hour to make the rear connections and 2 hours to route the connector…

Does the job - not easy to install

Count on a few hours of installation time. I consider myself quite gifted - I do assembly and electrical work as part of my daily job, as well as maintaining my bikes and motorbikes. However, I did not do any maintenance on the car, not even an oil change. With that in mind, here are the cons: - The panels on the car were VERY difficult to remove - I had to figure it out myself. The instructions are not written for Mazda 2, but close. I was nervous because I was worried that the plate might…

Works great, but a lot of installation work.

This custom wiring harness works great. I've used shared wire adapters in the past to make separate amber turn signals work with two trailer bulbs and they were a poor compromise. This kit plugs into the car's existing wiring harness and does a fantastic job. You will need to remove the driver's side rear quarter panel, open the passenger's side rear quarter panel, and remove the entire driver's side rocker panel and sunroof. This is necessary to route the cable from the car battery to the…

Great for 2011 CX-9

The connectors on this unit are perfect for my 2011 CX-9. The only thing that was required was cutting the 12v power line for the passenger side accessory outlet, which is a much better option than running wires from the engine bay to the battery. I had to remove the panels. On the CX-9, the side panels are held in place by about 10 weight hooks that are bolted on. Remove them with a 10mm head. Remove the trunk and skid plate along the underside of the sunroof. I installed the unit on the…
