Almost too easy for my 2005 Volvo XC90

I wanted to be able to tow my XC90 but was afraid to mess with trailer lighting, splicing, shrink tape, soldering etc. Good news, this kit just plugs in. I'll probably spend more time running the wire than hooking this thing up. The hardest part was drilling a small hole in the frame for the ground wire. It took about 45 minutes from getting the tools to putting them away. Tester connected and voila! Tail lights, turn signals, 4 directions, brake lights all work as they should. Great product…

Connectors are easy to find

You can watch a 2010 XC90 setup on YouTube, it will definitely help you figure out where the connectors are and the wires from one side of the car to transfer to the other . Other. On my wife's 2011 XC90, the gray connectors that you plug in snap onto the frame behind a plastic panel towards the rear of the car. You can fumble for this panel and pull the quick clip out of the frame, no damage to the connector or clip if you want to clip them back in, I used the zip ties provided to secure…

No installation instructions, but works well

I had to look up a YouTube installation video (tag) for a 2010 Volvo XC90 which was very helpful. There are plenty of ports on the driver's side that look like good candidates, but they aren't. The corresponding factory plugs are hidden behind the vehicle frame on both the driver's side and the passenger's side. I had to pull on them to get their plastic mounts out of the car frame first to get them out and use the T-connectors that came with this harness. Also installed a fuse in the red fuse…

Excellent solution, easy installation

Works great, easy installation. My car is a 2006 XC90. The only difficulty is getting to the lighting connectors in the access panels at the corners of the car, especially as they are not visible. Place your finger just behind the panel where the seat belt reels are installed and you will feel them. With a flashlight and a mirror or a front camera on your phone, you can see where they are behind the fairing to help you get started. Use your finger to feel the back of the headlight connector…
