Light. Big. in Power Tool Parts & Accessories

This thing is amazing. So glad I got it. I picked it up after almost ripping my arm off with a 6 inch hole saw trying to make a board out of a corn hole. I have a Makita compact router and although the screws that came with the bracket didn't work, the screws in the base it came with worked fine.

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • boring packaging

Could be better - Fixture accessories

Works well, fits my Dewalt wireless device. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is because I think it's upside down, even though it's designed that way. They say that this is due to the fact that the inscription will be hidden next to the router. Your solution is to hide them all since the label is at the bottom when installed. It will be easy to pick the wrong pivot point.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Does exactly what it promises.

I bought this hoping to make speaker cutouts. It's perfect for that and I can honestly say I will never go back to anything else. For those who think the price is too high, remember that once you buy, you will not buy again. Helpful tip, I scratched the back where yellow paint and lettering was. A few coats of clear coat will fix this.

Supplied screws do not fit Makita

I have an RT0701 and the supplied flat head screws do not fit the "C" holes in the dive base. Use flat heads from the base, but the beveled head seems to crack the plastic with prolonged use, so I'll grab a few. The tool works as expected, the markings are clear and easy to read and are at the top of the scale so they don't rub off. The centering guide fits exactly and everything works as described.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Almost never

Precise circles are fast

The screw cones in the router are on the same side as the hole marks so you need to look at the bottom of the trampoline to see which hole to use and then this one Place hole over the pin. You can see the numbers above, but they're reversed and there are a lot of them. Aside from this totally frustrating feature, attaching the base to the router and using the bracket is very easy. Pre-measured holes make it easy to get an exact size wheel. The holder held up well despite being made of plastic.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Not sure

To cut the outside diameter of the disc add 1/4 ".

Cutting guide for the inside diameter of the disc. If you need a disc add 1/4" to the diameter and You have a perfect disc (Example: You need a disc that is exactly 10" diameter, so set the center pin to 10 1/4" if you have a 1/4" diameter drill inch). It's very simple .to use after it's been set up.I'm a bit concerned about how long the numbers will remain legible after a bit of use.I cut out the rings with double sided tape to attach the center of my disc to the sacrificial foil underneath.I…

  • Ideal for outdoor activities

Makes great circles!

The circle tool works great. I connected it to a 1/4" spiral cutter in my router and it cut large circles. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the circle dimensions are read from the bottom, which is a headache. The smallest circles are under the base of the Routers centered, so reading from below is necessary but awkward. Also, there's a typo in the indices: they say to add 1/4" to cut the disk to the size you want. (when using a 1 /4" bits) to the desired size. So if you want a 7" disc, fit…
