Very good switch that will last a long time

I bought this to replace the off road light switch in my truck. It's solid, well built and strong from all sides. It's easy to use and has a nice blue backlight so it's easy to find in the dark when it's on. Hooking it up was easy and very easy. I also noticed something: next time you're at Wal-Mart, check out electric carts. They use the same switch to turn on and off. They're sure to be a TON of use, so this should give you an idea of how well done this switch is.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Great price

Fits my 4Runner like a glove

Fits my 3rd gen 4Runner like a glove! Love it! And it was relatively easy to install (remove the panel under the steering wheel, unplug the plastic connector from the car, plug in the new switch, snap it into place, put the panel back in place. Done). I hooked this up to a relay that powers some LED off-road lights up front. I probably didn't need a relay because that switch could probably handle the load - rated at 20 amps - but it allows me to expand to more lights without having to redo the…

It works. but it's not really blue and needs a bit of trimming.

Needs some tweaking as it is slightly larger than normal switch holes. Probably only 1-2 mm. Blue light is not really blue. It's really light blue and almost looks like it has a touch of green. I have this to replace the green switch as most of my lights are blue. It didn't help much. Don't expect blue to actually be blue. I wanted it to match my blue dash color but it doesn't. In the end it works well and is of acceptable quality. I will try a different manufacturer next time.

Good switches: Switch

I bought two of these. One of them feeds my ARB switches and a Dakota Digital Air Knife that monitors the pressure in my ARB system and the other feeds another Dakota Digital Air Knife. which regulates the pressure in my airbag. The switches match my ARB switches exactly. Which is nice because it just looks ugly when the dash switches aren't aligned. Clearly marked for ground, power input/output etc. The light only comes on when the switch is on and is not very bright so the light does not…

Good switches are best for Toggle

I bought two of these. One of them feeds my ARB switches and a Dakota Digital digital pressure gauge that monitors my ARB system pressure, and the other feeds another Dakota Digital pressure gauge that monitors my airbag pressure. The switches match my ARB switches exactly. That's a good thing, because it just looks ugly when the switches on the dashboard don't match. etc. The light only comes on when the switch is on and is not very bright so the light does not distract from night driving…

I would like 4.5 stars. EXCELLENT product, the installation is a bit wrong.

These rockers are amazing. They work well, look good and the wiring is clear and simple. My only problem is that everywhere I've searched, including here and several Jeep sites, says they fit right in my 2004 Jeep Wrangler. I was able to use them with little effort and was a little afraid of breaking something. As you can see in the photo, they are not quite level at the bottom. It was a little tricky fitting them into the existing holes without modifying the hole in my dash. I'm perfectly…

  • Switches and Relays
Cons
  • Not bad

The Rugged Ridge A-pillar switch box works with this switch. Rugged Ridge makes similar switches, but I like the shape better. The instructions that come with the switch are clear so hookup is easy. The lamp is powered by the cable leading to the relay. There is also a terminal on the back that needs to be connected to ground. So there are three terminals on the back; Power consumption, power output, lamp mass. The terminals are standard size and easily connect to the terminals. You must…

Limited fit for Kia Forte

I have a 2013 Kia Forte EX and wanted to add a switch for an accessory. Unfortunately, the Kia Forte does not have any additional places on the button bar, except for the places where standard applications should be placed. That means you can't just pull them out and cut a hole because they were made for a specific purpose. I took a risk with the order. Based on the dimensions given, I had a feeling it would be a bit small. I was right, it doesn't snap into place, but it fits snugly. I can add…
