📏 Precision Woodworking Angle Marker & Center Finder Pen - 45 Degree Right Angle! Review

This center marker works well for marking small pieces of wood, especially handles etc. The actual design has a slight offset of the pencil shaft to accommodate the diameter of the pencil shaft when marking lines.

I had to mark the center holes for a 1.5" square table leg - very impressive - pencil line offset is built into the template - you can mark all four sides to be sure. The jig does the job perfectly and works on stock up to about 3 inches (marking depth is 1-7/8 inches). Solid metal precision.

It is square shape and the 45 degree angle is accurate. Large size for large materials like spindles up to 2 inches. Inch measurements are accurate. Better than large center finders that are difficult to hold when marking. Has a convenient hole for hanging on a pegboard or elsewhere.

I purchased this item based on the picture provided by the seller. The numbers on one of the seller's photos show them as white and easy to read, as you can see they are not. I was hoping, but it wasn't a huge disappointment. I spent an extra $10 on this product because of the bright red color and the fact that none of the images shown had the logo. To make matters worse, it looks like the product has been dropped on concrete multiple times as it has scratches and dents.

It's easy to use with both hands - the outdated plastic flat big square center finder (you know it) was difficult to use with pen blanks as it wanted to move while holding/ marking - it doesn't have the same problem - I've used it 6 times since I got it tonight - my pen blanks now have an accurate centre, ready for center marking and drilling.
