I have been involved in photography and graphics for about 15 years. I've had several screen calibration tools and now use xRite's i1Pro. I couldn't be happier with this monitor. Great monitor. Upgraded from a LG 1080p monitor to this 2560 x 1440. Came in a box so no damage. It came in one day even though I have a prime and should have come in two days. I turned on the monitor and immediately noticed a lack of contrast. Adjusted the settings only to find out that "uniformity compensation" is disabled. I turned it off and started adjusting the settings when I noticed the monitor had terrible color uniformity. The left half was green and the right half was purple. No color correction can fix this. I just received a Dell 27" UP2716D. It looks great! But wait Windows 10 users, Windows 10 doesn't offer a 2560x1440 display option. Overall a great monitor. Image quality is excellent, but if you're struggling to see fine details, consider upgrading to the 27-inch model. The number of pixels per inch is about 115, maybe a little more. I prefer the smaller format - I have a 2560 x 1440 27" monitor at work and it just takes up too much room on my desk. I love this monitor - the 25-inch monitor is about as big as I can carry it, and the ability to connect two PCs to it and switch between them with the built-in KVM switch is a great feature, though you need to use the menu to do this. That; It would be nice if there was a hotkey or programmable button on the display to toggle between the two, but that's a bit finicky.

So this is my first IPS panel that I've bought and I expected a lot from this $700 panel from Dell and also that it's not one of those IPS gaming panels that suffers from flaws. On the first day of use it seemed like a great panel but on the second day I started using different color profiles, lo and behold there was a blotchy white paint between the left and right side of the panel! This is unacceptable for a $700 professional monitor made in November 2015. I just have no idea what's going on

I LOVE this monitor! It's expensive but it's great. The size is perfect, the clarity is perfect, it has all the ports you could need and the stand is great too. I wish it was cheaper but everything else is great.

I had this monitor dual setup alongside a Dell U2715H monitor. It never matched Dell exactly, even after running ColorMunki on both. But as a secondary display, this wasn't that critical. Literally after 15 months of use, the screen suddenly went dull. I've tried a factory reset but to no avail. It is a pity that the monitor is so short without the possibility of repair.
