I use it as an after cooler for my single stage air compressor. This works very well. The fan blows some air. The inlet air temperature reaches about 220 degrees and the outlet air temperature reaches room temperature. Very happy.

We have a 32ft diesel RV with an Allison automatic transmission. Don't worry until we start towing the car. Our A/T warning light came on while driving uphill in ambient temperatures of 95F or higher. We installed this unit remotely and have never had any overheating issues. We also used a Derale 35022 10 AN fan controller.

I use this for my 06 Duramax Diesel. I installed it specifically where the factory radiator was and it works perfectly and controls the temperature of the transmission. I only use the fan when cruising at low speeds after a 5-10km/h freeway trip and when it's on it cools down fairly quickly for the transmission to shut down again.
