Flexible yet strong

I needed to replace the cord on a Dewalt hand sander. I have used this grinder a lot and have owned it for many years. The original cable had a standard connector and a long cable that went straight into the top of the motor. I seasoned the old to the new cord and it works great, as does the grinder. I didn't have to change the grinder.

  • Confident

Accurate replacement of power tool parts and accessories

I've reached the age where parts for some of my best power tools no longer exist. This is frustrating as new tools have become much more expensive or not as good. In this case, this cable used on my Dewalt DW-106 is an exact replacement for the original. A bit pricey but worth it to look and function like new. Don't forget to buy a new strain relief if yours has been damaged as it comes without a cable.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Crumpled

Fits perfectly on my old Dewalt angle grinder but you need wire connectors.

Cord fits perfectly through the rubber boot in the tool. It would be nice if there were plugs on the cables for that price. I had to cut the old connectors off the old cable and solder them to the new wires. If you're not good at soldering, you'll need to look for sockets. I didn't measure the width so you should check that first. I have spade terminals but they are not angled so I can't use them.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Love it!: Power tool parts and accessories

My Dewalt drill is over 20 years old and it still runs like clockwork. After so many years, the power cord's rubber began to deteriorate, exposing the wires. I'm so lucky I can still get parts for my drill in this throw away world we live in today! Removing the old cable and installing the new one was easy, but not particularly obvious either. You need to insert a SMALL screwdriver into the wire hole in the drill to loosen the old wire and then it will come out. I took everything apart, swapped

Expensive but worked well.

Direct replacement for Dewalt drill press. The hand grinder had special right angle flat terminals not found in this part number. I simply soldered the wire to the terminals on the old shovel. I have tons of power cords, but they are either too thick or too thin to discharge power tools. Decided to take the plunge and get these. Flexible and long like the originals. They're more like a later purchase jigsaw (polarized rather than non-polarized) that also doesn't show the signs of dry rot that…

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for support and durability
Cons
  • Working speed

It's a Dewalt cord, you can't go wrong

I have an old Dewalt DW101 drill with a cord that looked like it was chewed through by a pack of rabid squirrels and then ran off a lawn been mow several times. In the state it was in, I was even afraid to turn it on. I purchased and installed this cable along with a new cable protector. I don't have much experience with power tool repairs like a drill press, but there are some videos on YouTube that show you how to do it. Very easy! It's a strong cord made of quality material and the case is…

  • Free for educational use
