Very easy to install. consistent work.

Very easy installation. consistent work. I rate my tools based on performance and end product. This is one of my best performers. It was a great investment. My overall grade has increased significantly and consistently.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Exchange availability

DCF6202PH2 bit NOT AVAILABLE

I put a star because the DCF6202PH2 bit is NOT AVAILABLE where I called Dewalt customer service and asked them about the bit but they told me the bit is in Dewalt itself not available! Tried other brands but they didn't fit, the diameter of the others was too big.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • unreliable

Enormous time savings! for paint sprayers

Works great with drywall. And if you get a Metabo HTP/Robertson 6" cone with locking ring (which you remove) it will work with Senco (and probably many others) bottom screws. There will be some slack due to the different lengths, but it's not drywall so never mind. Now I'm covering entire rooms with it, preparing the subfloor and beams for laminate. Massive, massive, saves time.

Pros
  • Absolutely brilliant!
Cons
  • Weight

Better not worry about paint applicators

I recently bought this and am very disappointed. This is the third Dewalt tool that I would call useless. I've adjusted the depth gauge a million times and it still either tears the paper or doesn't turn the screw deep enough. I didn't realize I would need to use a drywall bat along with this charcoal adapter/drywall gun, but it's the only way to really get the job done. Don't waste your time. Either use your drywall gun or hit with a suitable mallet.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Requires square shank drill

For those looking for a square shank drill solution, the Metabo HPT #2 Square Drill (115450M) mounts straight when the E-clamp is removed. The bit is about 2mm longer than the included cross sander, which distorts the depth setting, but if you're doing something like sub-flooring that's not a problem. I would have given the device more stars if Dewalt had the right attachment as otherwise it works well. I also had an issue with changing the length of the screw during use.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Disappearable

UPDATED: Great general purpose bit that can use more bits

DCF6202 could have been a great addition to the DCF620 drywall screwdriver. I have a project dedicated to this, but I quickly tried it out on a drywall test strip on some 2x4s. I ordered a few extra baits for what I believe was intended for this disassembled feeder. I ordered a 5-bit set (DWA6PHC2-5) for an older cartridge (DCF6201). Although they don't say it will work with the DCF6202, these bits do work. You should change the depth setting to the setting where the screws are at the top of…

  • Consistent test results

game changer. in paint sprayers

Works great. It remains to hang the ceiling yourself. Used this with a cordless screwdriver and a lift and it was easy. Paid off on first job. I'll see how it holds up but no complaints so far and it works so well that I'll happily replace it if there are any problems. I've used another brand of auto feed net guns in the past and haven't been very impressed. There were no problems at all; no flaws, the screws are semi-tight and come loose at silly angles, nothing. Reliable loading at all times…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Little things

Variable Drive Depth

I wanted to like this as it was cheaper than the old model but ended up having to return it. This device does not tighten the screws in any random order. It doesn't matter how many times I change it. Sometimes he just rode, mostly he tore up the paper. The bit often grinds the screw heads and does not grip properly. Replacing the bit didn't help and I couldn't find a replacement online. I had the opportunity to compare two (old and new) assorted nozzles. The new one is thinner and it's easier…
