I bought this to help with a bathroom project that required cutting slate tile with an angle grinder. After watching a few YouTube videos, I bought some extra protective gear. Goggles, face shield and thick gloves. And a dust mask. The blade worked very well and cut through the slate with ease. A LOT of dust is generated during the process! But the blade itself was perfect for the job.

I had to cut a hole in a 18" x 18" porcelain tile to allow the toilet flange to protrude from the bathroom floor. This cut-off wheel has made this task easier. I made many laps around the circle with the angle grinder, removing a little porcelain at a time and ending up with a nice hole with no cracks in the tile. I would recommend watching a YouTube video on how to do this. There are a few. One that specifically recommends this product.

This is the disc you need when you need to cut porcelain stoneware with an angle grinder. I tried Dewalt's turbo version and it kept chipping the tiles and cracking badly when cutting the toilet flange hole. This blade cuts almost tear-free in dry use and is just as fast as the turbo version. Skip the wet saw for small projects and buy this blade for your angle grinder. Please wear protective clothing when using this product to protect your ears, eyes, lungs and hands!

I have used this with an angle grinder to cut ceramic and marble tiles. Didn't have a huge job, maybe a dozen 4x4 tiles, but it worked great and looks like it has life left. My first cut was at a 90 degree angle in a glazed piece, so I covered the cut lines with masking tape and cut through. I had a pretty big tile job at home, my first job. I basically used a full size tile saw for all the big cuts and used this blade in my angle grinder for the smaller cuts. I've also used it to rough cut rounded top edges, which I then smoothed to their final shape using 4" diamond blades (from Revain) on a variable speed pneumatic angle grinder. I bought these blades to use with my cheaper wet saw. I change the tiles around the fireplace. I am laying 12" marble tile. These blades come with a brass fitting so you can use them on a 5/8" or 7/8" shank. It was very helpful. I was cutting very slowly and these blades were amazing I bought two of these Dewalt blades, an MK blade (159402 MK-99) and a Concord blade (CTN045A10SP) but have not used the other two.
