poor antenna design and high price

In general the collar works. I stopped using the GPS containment system as the containment circle tended to float too much causing too many problems to trust. My biggest concern is the longevity of the antennas. I had to replace the antennas on both the collar and the transmitter. The transmitting antenna is very long and breaks easily. The antenna collar wire is broken where the collar touches the receiver. The swim collar is also frayed at the adjustment holes, making it a bit difficult to…

I got this collar for my dog and so far it has worked well.

The collar is a bit heavy but looks good. The transmitter looks good too. The collar finds GPS satellites fairly quickly once programmed. The antenna on the collar is still there. Looks well made (many reviews said the antenna fell off or broke but I think the manufacturer replaced that item). The batteries on the collar seem to last from dawn to dusk so that's fine, but I'll wait and see how long the battery lasts before needing to be replaced. I bought this for a GPS fence for my dog and will

Worked great for me.

I read all the reviews before getting these and hoped the positive ones were more accurate than the negative ones. That's how far they are. I received a collar with a stronger antenna than pictured and it has withstood rough dog handling/play and fence diving. I think most of the negative feedback is because people didn't read and follow the instructions and didn't spend some time thinking about how to set the midpoint of the boundary zone for the fence. I chose the center point and then went…

No precise boundary like an invisible fence

Our dog can now be kept on 10 acres. Setting the external flags was difficult as the GPS signal was not constant. It's a give or take of 3 yards or so. Our dog is an exceptionally fast and strong animal, so lagging behind is not ideal. The range is good. Battery charge is good. Just plug them in overnight. Setup was mostly intuitive and the instructions were easy. It would be easier to sync the collar to the monitor. Sometimes I see a paw sign on the monitor (the paw indicates the position of…

Great product and phenomenal customer service

We purchased both the system and an extra collar to assist two Large Pyrenees dogs during a major calf surgery next to a busy road . The system and GPS fence worked really well for our needs. The puppies/dogs are a bit noisy and with lots of play and swimming in the pond on the property the collars have held up very well (surprisingly!). I'm not very tech savvy so it took me a bit of time to really learn how to use the system, put up a GPS fence etc. but once I found out it was pretty easy to…

UPDATE: If you read my first post, we were initially very happy with this system. It has really helped us keep our dogs engaged. We live on a 400 acre farm and the dogs ran away during the hunting season, got too close to the porcupines etc. For a few months this didn't allow it and it was amazing. Then everything went wrong. First, the antenna on the phone appeared to have fallen apart. Everything seemed to work fine without her, so it didn't really matter. Then one of the "prongs" fell out of
