Exact replacement for the stock unit.

Dorman Products manufactures its parts to meet or (in many cases) exceed OEM specifications. I measured them with a digital caliper and these are the exact dimensions of the #803916010 Subaru washer that I've been using on our 2015 Forester for the past five years. You do the same job for less money. You can't go wrong with Dorman.

Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

You should consider replacing this

Scion FRS Drain Plug Gasket which is inherently designed to "squeeze". I'm used to a seal that lasts almost the life of the car. Buy a pack of 12 if you are changing the oil in your own car. Much better than paying $12 a piece at Stealership. Scion designed this as a one off print. I've found I can get 2 or 3 of these if you're a little gentle.

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Amazing price and they work!

After the first oil change on a Subaru I used drain plug gaskets, no leaks. I only gave 4 stars because some of the seals are broken and I definitely don't think it's rust, but even if I don't use them I would still save money than buying them from Subaru. It's not that I'm against OEM parts either, but I don't pay that much for 1 or 2 OEM gaskets!

Exact fit Subaru #803916010

I used my digital calipers to compare it to the new OEM I had in my parts bin. Exactly the same in every way, the difference in size between the Dorman and Subaru is less than 0.1mm. looks, smells and tastes like the OEM. OD = 21.1mm, ID = 16.2mm, Thickness = 2.5mm, Edge Width = 2.8mm. I use this washing machine on my 2015 2.5 liter 4 cylinder (non-turbo) Forester. If you are looking for a shim for a 6 cylinder H6 engine you can try Dorman 095-142 which fits my 2004 H6 Outback perfectly. At…

They look just like the Subaru OEMs, although Revane says they don't.

Bought 10 seals and 10 filters from a Subaru dealership when my wife's 2012 Forester (2.5 H4/NA/PZEV) was out of warranty. She loves this thing to death so I ended up running out of parts. I knew that Revain would get me the parts I needed faster than if I had ordered more from the dealer, so I decided to give it a try. While the parts finder tells Revain they don't fit the 2012 Forester, they absolutely do. I read the Dorman parts manual before ordering. As far as I can tell they are identical

Learned an important lesson about my Toyobaru.

Bought a Toyota 86 last March (five months ago). Oil change at 5k. I noticed the washer but like my 2003 Toyota Tundra (which I just replaced the drain plug gasket on my last oil change) didn't think to change it. I thought it was good (like the tundra) for a while. I was wrong. I think the difference is the Tundra washer is vinyl and was working fine until I noticed it cracked on the last oil change. He was 18 so I figured a new drain plug gasket wouldn't hurt at that point. ha. Back to the…
