Dorman 46014 PCV Hose - Assisting You! Review

It didn't fit my car as described. We tweaked it and got it working, but it didn't fit the 2002 Malibu. Due to the fact that we had to forge it, we had several issues. But the black ribbon works wonders! The actual quality of the part is ok. It was only advertised to fit my brand and modality but it wasn't.

Saved me a lot of time and money. The vacuum leaking into the PCV system caused the car to rough idle or flatten out as it dropped into idle. It sounded terrible and could stall if you let off the gas on any corner. Now it works great, no leaks. The stiff part of the hose wasn't perfect for a 1999 Chevy Malibu, but it came close. I've used a heat gun to expand and reshape a few corners so it fits snugly with great success.

I hope someone finds this review helpful. I have a 1994 Oldmobile Ciera S with a 3.1 liter engine. Suction PVC vacuum line cracked due to age. I could not find this original hose anywhere. I noticed a previous comment on the reviews that someone installed this on a Chevy Lumina with a 3.1 liter engine. I did some research and found that it is the same engine. I bought the item and it fits perfectly. I don't know how long it will last but I'm glad it works, fits and looks factory like. Hope that

Well it looked like the right part and according to Revain it should have been the right replacement for my car but it doesn't fit. . There is a shaped "U" at the end where it connects to the steam solenoid (the picture shows it's right there) and I had to remove this part from the original mounting position to make this work.
