Works but inefficiently

Does what it's supposed to, but very slow. I wish they had one of these but in a 4 inch size like their regular 20v Ultrasaw wood saw. But unfortunately there aren't any, so the 3" seems to require a slower cutting speed and twice the size

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Secret

Better than a hot knife through warm oil!

It was more of a problem cutting warm butter with a hot knife than using one of those fresh wooden blades. Works great but as others have said they wear out quickly but still love the Dremel Saw Max I took 2 blades for 900 square feet of laminate so not bad for the price and what I was able to do with it.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Useless features

It worked great, much better than doing it by hand

I bought this cutter wheel while doing a hardwood floor project. I used my pneumatic paint grinder and put on this blade. Since my new wood floor was over 1/8 inch thicker, I need to remove about 3/16 inch from each door's side trim. It worked amazingly, much better than doing it by hand. Very happy!

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • old

Cuts very well in a very short time. I use them to modify cabinets during my kitchen renovation. For their price, they should last a lot longer. Even if you cut slowly, they wear out quickly. Since they're the only manufacturer that fits the Saw Max, you'll have to buy them. If someone comes up with a design that costs less and lasts longer, it could make money, it's not expensive or difficult to manufacture.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Very good product but it has limitations

I have bought a few of these blades as well as "multipurpose" blades. Although they look the same and both say they can cut wood and/or plastic, be aware that general-purpose blades are only high-speed steel and wear out fairly quickly. Blades marked "wood or plastic" are carbide blades and will last much longer. It's important to let the blade cut and not "push" the saw through the material too quickly or you will shorten the life of each blade. I should note that I used carbide, wood, andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
