Fixes brush rollers that no longer rotate

Dyson products are expensive. Its belt drive but not like other vacuum cleaners. Vacuum cleaner disassembled to see why the brushroll stopped turning. I mean it will, but only if it wants to. And with the slightest pressure on the roller, I can stop it with my finger. So if the roller were on carpet I would assume the roller is not spinning. I've been browsing the internet and found a video on YouTube why the videos aren't spinning. This clutch assembly was the culprit. It took me a few days to

Spend $10 more and get a belt tool.

The product is an exact replacement for the Dyson clutch. One thing no one mentions is that once you have new straps it's a real PAIN in your back to get the racquet back in place. In the youtube videos I found it seemed very easy but the guys tied the knot together with the same hitch and the belt is tight which makes it a lot easier. Also, a video shows the use of a Dyson tool which makes the job easier and if I knew how difficult it is to replace with new straps I would have spent another…

Very Difficult to Replace

If you don't have all the known tools, it's a tough decision. The clutch had to be replaced as the belt snapped and I refuse to give up my Dyson DC07 as I've replaced pretty much everything on it at the moment. But is this a solution? I wouldn't advise most people to try this. The first problem is guessing what size torque to use. Then, to get into the tight space, the approximate diameter of the Sharpie marker requires a special, long-handled, thin extension. Loosening a tightened bolt is the…

I saved $500 πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½

My vacuum cleaner hasn't worked for almost a few years and I took it apart and cleaned it and it started working again in a short amount of time. then stop again. The brush also didn't rotate every time we used the vacuum. I was looking for a new vacuum here, scrolled down and saw the clutch. I'm deciding what the hell I'm going to try because my husband really didn't want me to buy another $500 vacuum. Although we have had this vacuum for over 8 years he just couldn't understand why I would…

The OEM replacement clutch is great and easy to install

So I had a problem with my brush rod not turning when I applied the slightest pressure on it. After doing a little research on YouTube and reading some great Revain reviews and tips, I decided to spend $24.99 and order a new Dyson DC 14 OEM clutch that came with both belts. After taking 20 minutes to install and assemble it went like clockwork and I'm very happy with the money I saved by taking it to a repair shop or buying a new vacuum because I have mine Dyson love. I have attached a photo of
