He does what he says!

I like that the wires don't burn but the tubing shrinks. Works as stated. Even with wind. Used every day at work and makes multiple connections every day. It didn't disappoint.

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • Expensive

Fire detector Heat detector

Fire detector specialist, works great with heat detectors. SLC plastic heaters tend to melt before firing. Recommend the Dewalt 20V cordless heat gun at this point. But it works fine on aluminum heaters.

Pros
  • Quantity: 1.0
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Purchased July 3rd BROKEN July 29th

Worked great while at work. But today it didn't shine. I could use a different flame to start it and it would work. I don't smoke so I didn't have a lighter handy. I do not recommend this item to anyone.

Pros
  • Estimated temp adjustable to +1400ยฐF (+760ยฐC)
Cons
  • Write later

You have a few options: shrink electrical connections with a butane lighter, being careful not to burn the wires, or use this tool. This works well for smaller jobs and the risk of burns is much lower. Available heat is limited - if you try to crimp 2/0 (AWG 00) wire it won't work. But for general tasks with AWG 6 or less wiring it's a real boon - and I'll say I've been using the butane lighter method for years. The first system I bought stopped working after about three years and I had to buyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Heat gun and heat deflector included
Cons
  • Some mistakes
