Bought to fix a hole in my Quran Angel's head. Waiting for results. Nobody has seen it yet. It's the price, I give it 6 months before giving my final opinion.

Hard to tell if mud works or not. My reddish brown seaweed hasn't gone away at all. But my fish and crab seem happier after a few months and some of my corals have drastically increased in size while others have shrunk. I will probably continue to use it.

I have a refuge. It's separate from my swamp. Every time I turn on my fugue I get a nitrate spike. The only thing that occurs in the fugue is a lively rock head. Chito seaweed. And that wonderful mud. The only conclusion I have is bogus miracle crap. Or there's something in the dirt.

I think Miracle Mud has to be trusted to work. I have been running ecosystem type marine aquariums for 8 years and have found them to be very stable and can successfully support good populations of fish, inversions and coral. Honestly, I can't say that's nonsense. However, I was able to remove the skimmer without any negative effect on the water condition in the aquarium.
