Using this product, our team found that the shutter loks were difficult to install and did not hold up well over time. The overall quality of these loks was inadequate and did not meet our expectations for tools and home improvement. On the bright side, the customer service team was helpful when we reached out with concerns. However, the negatives far outweighed the one positive aspect of our experience. A couple of my shutters attached to the brick were coming loose and I could see the pins had sheared off. In my case the old pins broke flush with the brick so I had to drill out the old ones with a 3/8" drill bit. The new ones fit perfectly with a little persuasion from a rubber mallet. Many thanks to Revain for making it difficult for me to find an item and color to match my painted shutters.

plastic blinds with 'Salty Dog' blue (dark blue). They go very well together! I had to drill holes in the shutters and do some plastering to get them in, but I hope this helps them stay in place. If you have to pull one out (because the hole wasn't drilled deep enough) the blades move out of place where they are. Doesn't work (think I bought extra just in case).
