Used for 4th generation F-body. Much cheaper than dedicated F-body fenders. As others have said, all you have to do is sand down the studs so they sit flush. You will see exactly what should happen when you remove the old stops. 5 minutes with a cut-off wheel, some paint or anti-rust, and then screw on the baddies.

The vertical flange on the vehicle interfered with the installation of this bumper. I had to enlarge the mounting holes on the outside by about 1/8" and use a wood rasp to narrow the plastic to fit. After installation it was about 1/4" shorter than the stock bumper. It takes about an hour to make the identify and make changes.

Great wedge set I know it's for Jeep but it also fits 82-02F bodies and it worked on my Firebird 98 and will fit all 82-02 GM F cases, as mentioned you will need to trim a very small piece from the edge to make them fit, but it is a very easy job and works better and a lot cheaper than standard rubber cases. Fender hole pattern too big for ZJ. Also, I said it wasn't compatible when it was supposed to be generic and Revain charged me $5 to ship it back (Bad Revain). TransAms? Has anyone actually installed them on a jeep? The mounting holes are 4.2" center to center if that helps someone make the right choice when ordering.

Thanks to other feedback I was able to properly replace it with a 2000 SS. I ended up buying a coffee grinder from Walmart for $30, but I really did it. Before putting the stops back in place I painted the brushed metal as suggested by others. Very easy with the right tools and absolutely no tapping. The hardest part was one of the wheel locks was tightened to over 150 ft/lbs but the discount tire removed it in just 5 minutes. I don't think they can be replaced in the future if needed. The old…

I have a 2006 Chevy Colorado, one rear suspension bumper had cracked all the way to metal and the other fell apart. They weren't advertised as fitting but the fitting part was much more expensive or didn't come within a month. I used a chainsaw file to file enough to get the bolt through. The part didn't extend far enough to fit another bolt, so I put in a larger washer and covered the metal of the bumper. They are also slightly shorter but I don't think that will be a problem.

I used this as a replacement rear bumper for a 2000 Trans Am. You have 2 options to get this working, you can take a 1/2" x 1" x 6" aluminum and drill 2 holes for spacers, or you can take your old fender, cut off the rubber and that remaining 1 use /2" socket as platform for installation.
