Comfortable by creaking

The chair is very comfortable, with an excellent backrest and a fairly comfortable seat. The materials used are also good, definitely not comparable to high quality, but neither cheap. So why only two stars? All of this splendor is marred by a creaking noise that, as might be expected, cannot be remedied by tightening the screws. It makes noise every time I toggle it, loud enough for people calling Zoom to hear. It's a distraction for me and her, so unfortunately, while comfortable, it's no…

Quality chair, best in class: why 3 stars then?

Rarely do I give a product 3 stars and then claim it is best in class. The reason is the price. At $386 with tax, this chair is expensive. It is durable, comfortable, easy to assemble and a quality chair that is best in class. For seating comfort, the chair period is probably the best! butt. For the average user, this chair costs $160-$180 too much. If it cost $220 it would be a 5 star purchase. Tall people like me, 6ft 2in and up, may not get enough leg comfort even though the seat cushion…

Great chair, terrible shipping logistics

First off, let me say that this chair is quite comfortable, has a lot of features and is good value for money. There is nothing wrong with the chair itself - it is a great chair. But the delivery service was terrible. I don't know if it's boxed by Revain or Eurotech, but my first batch arrived without all the hardware. The hardware is contained in a small plastic bag inside the box, which is otherwise unprotected and easily torn. My guess is that the box broke somewhere and all the hardware…

Poor packaging and forgivable comfort

Like many before me, this chair definitely has terrible packaging. I was expecting this, and before it came I thought how bad could it be? The chair arrived with a few holes in the main box it was installed in and 6 of the 7 screws were missing. I giggled because the Allen key was also missing and found both of the washers that come with the kit in the box! What a mess. It seems to me that the quality control issues are due to poor packaging as most of the packaging inside the box was damaged…

Great chair/Terrible packaging

I bought the Eurotech Vera chair after trying some of the Steelcase (Leap v2 and Think V1) and Staples (Hyken) ergonomic chairs. I found that while all of these chairs offered excellent back and lumbar support, they had extremely hard seat cushions that became exceedingly uncomfortable after about 15 to 20 minutes. After a long search I decided on Eurotech Vera. I used to have a Eurotech chair (Raynor) that lasted over 15 years but the cushions had just straightened up and were no longer…

Reasonable compromise

Many people loved this chair and many complained that it creaked. Mine doesn't squeak. And it's comfortable enough - definitely my back feels a lot better than after sitting in my old, tatty piece of junk all day. But it's not great, not surprising. At best "good". Here are some complaints: 1) Plastic armrests. It's not the hardest plastic in the world, but it's definitely not soft. 2) The seat cushion is relatively hard. Maybe it's better for support, but it doesn't make you feel particularly…

This is an EXCELLENT chair

I've been looking for a new office/studio chair for about a month. After much research, I have kept coming back to the Herman Miller Aeron. It seems to be at the top of everyone's list, but little did I know it came with a $1,500 price tag. I found this chair in a review somewhere on YouTube and was intrigued. I ordered this chair despite having bought the Staples mesh chair with good reviews. Once received and assembled, I returned my Staples chair within an hour of sitting in it. A few months

Pros
  • I look forward to
Cons
  • The list will be long.
