Don't waste your money

I thought I liked this sharpener but after VERY infrequent use for about two years it died. I bought it in May 2018 and it is now August 2018. It is almost never used. When it was in use, I sharpened several pencils at once. After sharpening about 6 pencils, it overheats and switches off automatically, which I gladly ignored because it always worked perfectly again after it had cooled down a bit. A few days ago I tried to sharpen 10 pencils. overheated, but also the sensor failed and the motor…

Sharpens unevenly

Sharpens unevenly, some say. It was said, perhaps by the company or the seller, that the lead was not in the center of the tree. No! Many pencil brands have the wood cut on one side and, as you might expect, barely cut on the other. I suspect this is caused by the feature preventing you from sharpening the pencil to the point by holding it when the point is on it. I need to start listening to my wife

Well folks there is an upside. Price. It s cheap. Yes, it will sharpen the pencil, but if you don't practice and practice and practice, you'll end up with a crooked point every time. Personally, I've gotten pretty good at "twisting" the pencil as I sharpen it to create a smooth point, but I have to admit it's a real headache.
