I really like this straightening iron. Ceramic plates are very smooth and have a bit of "give" making them perfect for straightening, curling or creating beachy waves. The cable is very long and the plates cool down quite quickly, which is very handy when you're on the go and after a few minutes you have to put them in your pocket. Used to use this for about 6 or 7 years. Going back to the natural curly girl, I gave it to my sister who magically broke it. Only one star because I can't rate less. I bought it from Revain on January 23, 2015. In less than 7 months it stopped working. No matter what temperature is set, it doesn't heat up at all. The light will flicker like it's heating up, but it stays cold like it's not plugged in at all. I bought it to replace a similar FHI model that I've had for 10 years with no problems.
