Get some 3/8 "-16 2.5 " carriage bolts to speed up the installation

Installed on a 2017 Nissan Frontier King Cab. Installation went well, no changes to the truck necessary. I took off the bumpers, not sawed them off. The carriage bolts that attach to the leaf spring are too long and interfere with the brake lines. I ended up buying 8 3/8"-16 2.5" carriage bolts to replace the 5.5" bolts that came with the kit.

Pros
  • Performs decently
Cons
  • Everything OK

It's worth it. for spares

These airbags are amazing no problems so far. With just 25psi of pressure I can tow my RV with no sag and my Frontier goes straight like I have no weight. As in the other reviews, I complain about the screws, they are too long, but a visit to the store solves this problem. It's easier to remove the fender than to try to cut it. I also think they should add T for free or with a minimal premium as that is better. The work can be done by one person and takes several hours. Very pleasant ride.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • boring packaging

Everything looks clean and works great. I use them to strengthen my butt.

They fit my 2008 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab perfectly. My friend and I installed them in half a day. Use a jigsaw to remove the standard "bumpers" between the leaf springs and the frame. They look like rubber but are reinforced with metal. We also cut some of the bracket bolts and drilled holes in the bumper for the valves. Everything looks clean and works great. I use them to reinforce the rear end when towing my food truck to prevent sagging. They work great and the installation wasn't bad at…

No Firestone service

Once I was able to fit the airbags they did a great job towing or towing my truck. The problems started with the parts supplied. First, three of the four U-bolts for my 2012 Nissan Frontier were short, and eight of the bottom bracket bolts were long. Long bolts were easy to sharpen with a grinder, but I still needed longer U-bolts. When I called Firestone customer service, the woman on the line said she does not support purchases made through Revain. After a few more words, I realized that…

Depends on what you put them on 2012 Frontier SV CC 4x4 4.0

Really nice if you are using your truck for a truck. Took about 3-1/2 hours with a trip to the hardware store. My 12 Frontier gets very busy around the driver's side frame so I needed a bit of patience. The walk-through party then lasted 30 minutes. Much better handling than just blunt sag springs and took away 98% of the bounce even with Bilstiens. The combination is now a huge relief for me personally. I found that it was impossible to use existing locknuts with a certain spacing and after…

Not exact value for 2019 Frontier SV 4x4

Product seems to be hiding well after two months. I used Air Lift Ride Control on my previous Nissan D21. These shock absorbers had to be replaced every two years. My main gripe with the flint is how easy it is to install. The leaf spring bumper must be removed on each side to ensure a tight fit. Unfortunately, these bumpers are essentially steel coated with a bumper. Blades MUST be unscrewed and removed to cut. It's not an easy task in the driveway in the afternoon. The brake lines must also…

Pros
  • Ideal for small house
Cons
  • Easy serviceability

Will not fit without modification, weak brackets.

Installed on a 2012 Nissan Frontier Pro-4X. It does not fit without modification, making installation time-consuming. As others have pointed out, the tab on the top bracket had to be cut. I cut off about 1/8 inch with a dremel tool. The spring bolts are ridiculously long. I cut the screws to the correct length which took too long. It would be better to buy new screws. it was still very difficult to get the key past the brake pipe and parking brake cable and to avoid damage I fitted the outer…

Download the manual, plan to replace the iron.

2018 Nissan Frontier Midnight 4x4. After going to all the trouble of getting them to me down the street, they sent me the wrong 3/8 nuts. After lying in the mud at camp, undoing bolts to remove fenders and assembling and installing bags, I found that all of the flange nuts were the wrong thread pitch. I've already found time to run to the hardware store to get the shorter 3/8 bolts for the bottom of the assemblies (general view), now I have to wait until I get to Vegas to take one to the larger

Definitely NOT the exact bolt match for the 2020 Frontier

Sorry, wrong button pressed. I hope this full review gets published. I've checked multiple sources - they all say this Firestone #2558 kit was a straight bolt that fitted all Frontiers through 2021. That's not even remotely true. Frontiers underwent engine and transmission changes for the 2020 and 2021 models. And it's clear that Firestone engineers didn't even bother to inspect the package. Can't speak to previous models but I need airbags for my 2020 so I can tow a bit - and this Firestone…
