Not impressed at all.

I bought this hoping it would refresh the look of my Mustang soft top. The Florida sun can be cruel. I followed the directions, I did two layers. Looked good at first, as did the first 2 weeks. Then the afternoon rain started in Florida and now I see these horrible chalk streaks on both side windows and the back window is full of them. It has something to do with this product as it didn't happen before I applied this stuff and I've never used anything else over it. Streaks on my windows but…

1930 Ford Model A Restoration Work Amazing!

Purchased to restore the vinyl roof on my 1930 Ford Model A. I was nervous/concerned about buying and applying because I didn't see any mentions or references to many of the historic vehicles. However, this product worked brilliantly. See photos before and after. The first coat took a bit of "elbow grease" which is to be expected as it was the original 1930's faded black vinyl I think. After two coats it looks like it just came off the Henry Ford assembly line. Looks fantastic and the…

WOW! I have a new top again!

I love this stuff. I wish it could do to my plastic windows what it did to the Bestop Trektop vinyl on my 2005 Jeep Wrangler. It's only 4 years old and in good condition but the black was faded, dirty, dirty etc. The same was the vinyl on my Bestop sliders. Cleaning wasn't enough. I brushed and Tough Stuff and it helped but it was still faded and stained. Then I applied this black top gel and it was like new. It was very easy to work with and I really liked the applicator. I was able to do all…

Great product that is very easy to use!

Okay I read some of the reviews and some of them were mixed so I'll add my 2 cents. I just applied this to my 1973 Cougar XR7 convertible. It is amazing and works 98% after 1 coat and 100% after 2 coats. I'm not sure why people are having difficulties with this product? My top is 45 years old and looks brand new again. The application sponge is really good and holds up great. The actual product in the vial is more like a loose gel and not as liquid. Apply a small strip directly to the…

Restore your convertible top to factory condition

After 14 years on the road my 2004 Toyota Solara top is starting to look a bit faded. I was hesitant to replace it so after researching alternatives I decided to try Forever Car products. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the bottle I received and waited for the first day without rain to try it. It was immediately apparent that my top had faded even more than I thought and the transformation when I applied the blackening gel was amazing. I would say my top still looked pretty good…

Top Brown to Black Color Change

6/24/17 - Update The color change (brown to black) has been on my Jeep's rear window for over 6 months now. It's mostly intact, but there are a few frayed spots where the tan is slightly visible. It should be noted that this is probably due to the fall of the tip. Living in Virginia, the top has only been lowered a few times as it's a little cold here in the winter. Let's see if the wear and tear gets worse in the summer. I have attached a photo showing the change. I still recommend this…

Works great if you know what you're doing.

I'm a great researcher when it comes to shopping. I bought a 2013 Mustang Convertible oh my god I love this car but it looked a bit worn for my liking including the top but I was sure there were things that could make it better and bought the car a week later. return. So firstly I read some conflicting reviews and wasn't sure about this product but after using it myself I think those who didn't get it to work maybe applied it casually or did it under direct sunlight . One day I asked my friend…
