Loose wire on kitchen utensils and appliances

Just opened and the wire is pretty loose. I loosened the screws and noticed that one end of the wire was twisted the other way around as it should be. I should be rotated so that it wraps more tightly around the wire as you tighten the screw. However, it was packaged in such a way that it came loose. I flipped it over and pulled the wire much tighter, but still not enough. I'll play around with it more to get a real seal, but I don't have to.

Not suitable for washing in the dishwasher.

As mentioned, the front looks nice but the back is hollowed out. Bad experience in stopping. However, my main complaint is that I put it in the dishwasher and the white plastic roller was bent. Now the slicer is useless. I confess I haven't checked if it's dishwasher safe. This information must be clearly visible. I would not buy dishes that cannot be washed in the dishwasher. I have had this slicer for many years and have never had any problems. I cannot recommend this product.

Typical Wire Cutters, Adjustment Slip, Wire Loose

I use a LOT of cheese cutters and prefer one that can cut thin cardboard cubes down to 1/8 inch. So I wanted an easily adjustable one. This can be easily adjusted, but the knurled nut is too small and therefore difficult to tighten as tight as necessary. A little more and I'll have to go through the trouble of tightening it. I gave it 4 stars instead of 3 as it's still far better for my use than fixed gauge wire cutters.

My three-year-old makes better products out of mud

Not entirely useless, but close. I was disappointed when it arrived because it's so ridiculously light, but thought it might help. After all, we're just slicing cheese here and not launching satellites. I was wrong. The only bit I got out resulted in complete warping of a clearly mismatched wire. And even then I only got half a slice! Obviously, Tillamook's sharp cheddar is far too strong for this Playskool-level cookware. I would return it but I think shipping will cost more than the item…

He disappointed me a lot

Not only the wire is broken, but also the connection on it. I was very disappointed with that. I was busy trying to resolve this issue until I just saw this email from you, Revane Prime. cheese knife, and I'm "damn" out of luck. Not all people complain (I didn't complain until I saw this email from you) but tell others about your bad experience and never buy from this manufacturer again. Thanks for the question. I am very satisfied with other products that I have received from you (PB Fit, RFID

Not as pictured and does not work well

I have two problems with this cheese cutter. First of all, the description clearly states that the slicer comes with two spare wires, but only one spare wire is included in the scope of delivery. A more serious problem is the cutting wire. First, the wire gauge is much thicker than I've seen on similar slicers, which makes the slicer tend to shred drier cheeses like very sharp white cheddar. More seriously, the wire that cuts the cheese doesn't stay taut. After a few slices it loosens and…

Käseschnitt for cheese, you get what you pay for. spend more.

Whoever coined the term "sliced cheese" never had a cheese slicer in mind, probably because real cheese is just cut with a knife after consumer packaging. Soft cheeses like Brie are too sticky and hard cheeses are too hard. This slicer is not completely useless. It's possible to slice "cheese food", velvet cheese, American cheese, or mozzarella that aren't too fresh, although they tend to rip off crumbs at the end of each slice. It works better with packaged American Colby, but it's worse with…

Average. I wish I could read the reviews.

To be honest this is a GOOD slicer. I broke two of this type of plastic cutters sometime this week. The wire broke on one, the real plastic on the other. This metal wire with a spare wire (S!) seemed to solve those problems. It seemed premium for other cheese slicers in the $7-$10 range, but I'd love to read other reviews. The description says it comes with TWO SPARE CABLES. The truth is that it comes with ONE installed and ONE spare; TWO TOTAL. A "spare" in my opinion never includes one that…
