This tester has many different screens that you can cycle through, all displaying many different numbers - some you can understand but many you can't. Great little gadget for an IT pro, very handy! I accidentally pressed a button too many times (or too little?) and changed the language, luckily I accidentally reset it back, but maybe add a button or make the language setting permanent? USB C connected to my portable battery and the mAh capacity stayed at 0 although I could be using it incorrectly? This is a simple and useful multimeter for measuring voltage and current when connected to the mains (e.g. between the host charger and the device to be charged) . It's nice and I think the price ($16) is fair. On the other hand, when I found this I was really looking for a device to measure the resistance (continuity) of the data conductors of USB cables. Some cables only charge, while higher quality cables also transmit data. I want to know the difference so I can figure it out and get rid of

Seems pretty accurate. The fine print is difficult to read, but it is clear enough to use a small magnifying glass. Just hold down the button and the language will change to English and volts and amperes will become a readable font size. I've tried both USB A and C but I don't have a real C device right now.
