Wrong cardstock color when painting

When I opened it up during a drawing lesson, I found that my set had "Ultramarine Purple" instead of "Ultramarine Blue". Now I have no blue to mix!

Incorrectly labeled tube

The color is good but I received an incorrectly labeled tube. Alizarian Crimson in an ultramarine blue tube. So, I have two Alizar raspberries without ultramarine.

Nice set - check your colors - great price!

Great set BUT I had burned 2 Umber and not Titanium White (so 4 instead of 5). I use a lot of Burnt Umber so I keep a set. went to order titanium white!

No clumps of unground pigment!

I compared all brands of varnish that I know of. The Gamblin brand is by far the best I've found. The reason is this: in these tubes you get a lot more pigment and a lot less medium, ie oils. As a result, this paint is significantly more economical to use. Relative color comparison on par with everyone else. You may also find with other brands that the pigments are not finely ground, especially with raw umber. However, rest assured that you won't find any large chunks of unground pigment in the

Great paint at a great price

Gamblin paints are my favorite oils. I've used many brands over the past 30 years, but these days almost all the oils I buy are Gamblin. Why? The texture of the paint is very even, thick and oily. They carry a large amount of pigment, I often dilute them down to glaze and the colors are still vibrant and natural. Her choice of colors and mediums is hard to beat. in between. But nine times out of ten when I open a tube of oil paint, it's a tube of Gamblin paint. This is a great starter kit, with

Big Oil Starter Kit

I love Gamblin colors and this is a great starter kit for the price. If I were to create my own set I would add phthalo blue instead of phthalo green for better color mixing ability. The tubes are a standard size so you can buy a large tube of white anywhere, permalba white mixes well with these colors. If I were to make a kit I would also include a tube of Galkyd or Gamblin solvent free gel which is just great - it's a great medium which allows the paints to dry much faster. If you're bothered
