Best you can get.UPDATED

I've had a Genie opener on my garage for 15+ year, love it. Can open the door when I'm half way down the street and drive right in. I built a new detached garage, and didn't even hesitate ordered and put in a Genie (these are screw drives). I was terribly disappointed, you had to be 10 feet from the door to open it. I came with 2 of these little "key chain" remotes. Genie customer service is right up there in the top 10 worst. Finally, I bought the GM3T-R Master. WOW! works just like my old…

Pros
  • I was able to configure my 2 gates from a single control
Cons
  • The remote is not compatible with all garage door openers

Instructions not complete

The product itself is great the instructions that came with it very limited. Called the number it suggested which takes you to a company to that will charge you to come out and do it. Had to watch a YouTube video to fill in the blanks on the instructions

Pros
  • ‎7.2 ounces
Cons
  • The remote frequently malfunctions and requires constant troubleshooting

Works as advertised

My elderly dad lost his garage door remote in the car crash that caused him to stop driving. Fast forward several years, and I now need to park a car in his garage. Pros
  • Keypads & Remotes
Cons
  • The remote does not work with all types of garage door openers

Great replacement! for my opinion

It’s a great replacement for the old one I’ve had for years, easy to set up and use it is hardly given me any issues. The remote is easily damaged by water or other elements.

Works on the old style Genie garage doors

I have a pair of old Genie garage doors with the DIP pins and needed a new remote for my new Tesla that didn't come with a built in remote. Using the old remotes' DIP pin settings, I was able to program both doors and clip the remote on the visor.

Pros
  • ‎2 CR2 batteries required. (included)
Cons
  • The remote is not ergonomic and uncomfortable to hold for long periods of time
