Perfect for aftermarket parts

This is a genuine Toyota part and fits perfectly in both the engine head and the electrical connector. Stop the oil leak I had on a 2002 Camry with a 2.4 liter engine.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some nuances

No original parts from Toyota!

These are not genuine Toyota parts! They are only sold with a Toyota sticker after the sale. The item is really light, weightless and thin. This ISP scams people by paying 4 times more. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not as thick as other selections

3.4 The oil pressure sensor works great.

I thought my 3.4 4Runner finally gave up after 264,000 miles. It turned out to be the oil pressure sensor. I'm glad I found this OEM/Genuine Toyota switch to replace the faulty one. 3.4 still works great! This is a pressure switch only, not a pressure supply unit that reads/reports actual pressure.

OE quality replacement

Installed in a 2003 Toyota Corolla. On this vehicle, the sensor is easily accessible from the top of the engine compartment above the oil filter. You'll need a 22-24mm head (sorry I forgot what size, but it definitely doesn't look like 19mm or smaller). Simply unplug the old sensor, unscrew the old sensor, apply some teflon tape or other sealant to the threads of the new sensor, screw in the new sensor and finally reconnect the wire connector. This part is exactly the same as the old one…

Pros
  • High support and durability ratings from testers
Cons
  • unreliable

Fits perfectly 2003 3.4L Tacoma

Fits my 2003 Tacoma 3.4L perfectly and works as it should. It took a few minutes of patience as there isn't much room for tools since I didn't remove the generator. I got to it from below by removing the protective plate. The cable connector came loose by pressing the button and using a small screwdriver to loosen it. I've used both an open end and 24mm box wrench to loosen and tighten, and a 24mm socket and fingers (no room for a ratchet) to turn them when loosening. Half a glass of oil came…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Fits 2004 Toyota Tacoma

I bought this for my 2004 Toyota Tacoma with 5VZ-FE V6 engine and it fits as expected. A few tips: Use thread sealant (available at auto stores for $2) or tape on the threads to prevent future oil spills. This sensor doesn't screw all the way in, so don't over tighten it if it stops spinning (this is normal as far as I can tell). To remove the old sensor you will need a 24mm socket wrench and a thin socket wrench

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Everything is OK
