So far so good (great now!)

So far so good. I've been using Assos for a few years. It's not as thick as Assos, but works the same way. Used it for 70.3 a few weeks ago. I (quickly) reapplied before I got on the bike. What I liked was that it was soft enough to pull out a drop very quickly and apply it easily in just a few seconds. I wiped my hand on my triathlon pants and left no trace of oil on my fingers, which irritates me when cycling. Update June 2015: I've been using the Gooch Guard since I first tried it last year.

The best not only for cycling!

So I'm not a cyclist; In fact, I can't even ride a bike. However, I suffer from chafing and rubbing on my inner thighs as I have hips that need it (a product of my Salvadoran genes). I use this every day because it makes everything easier. I don't rub when wearing anything, including leggings! I can move easily without having to adjust anything, including my underwear. I've worn these pieces to kickboxing classes and it has saved me from having to adjust my training leggings which can be…

GREAT FOR EVENTS Tough Mudder

This stuff saved my life during the Tough Mudder event (10.3 mile steeplechase)! When I run for a long time, I sometimes rub between my legs around my scrotum as sweat drips into it. Since hard mud has multiple spots where you submerge in water, I thought about it. If you've ever walked around wet and irritable, you'll know right away you're in trouble, and you'll look like a cowboy after a while. That's why I got worried as the day of the event approached. I went online, saw this and bought it

I was hesitant to try a new product but a product I love is hard to come by

As a woman I have to be careful what I use as the pH levels can be wrong and cause women problems later can. I have tried many products, I hesitated to try a new product, but the product I love is hard to come by. After seeing a Facebook ad from the STANS bike shop raving about the Gooch Guard, I decided to buy it online. The STANS bike shop is a little ride on my bike to buy one as I need it ASAP. My first attempt at the Gooch Guard was for a mountain bike race with a lot of climbs and I…

This is my first review. That's how much I believe in this product. First of all, I'm not an athlete and I'm not fat. My problem is that when I sweat, there is friction and I get a rash. It gets worse when I drink. The next morning just walking around my panties feel like they're on fire. I've tried countless things over the last 20 years. I've used diaper cream, zinc, aloe, petroleum jelly, compression stockings, and a ton of other products. Nothing has ever worked. I saw this product and was…

Product did not work well for this runner/cyclist

I am an avid cyclist and runner. I bike 5 times a week and run 3 times a week at Ironman Endurance. I've used Body Glide and DZ Nuts Chamois Creme religiously. Both products worked very well. I bought Gooch Guard because it's a few bucks cheaper than DZ Nuts and has good reviews. All I can say is that I haven't even used half of that first jar of product, so I'm already reordering DZ Nuts. I'm actually sitting here and feeling grinding pain as I type this! I haven't had burning pain for many…

Works well and lasts a long time - I choose Gooch

I've used several brands of suede cream including the most popular purple and yellow labels. I used Gooch Guard for the first time yesterday and was impressed, coming home from a 30 mile drive I noticed it was still where I had applied it. I've found that many other brands tend to "flush" once you start sweating. I'm only giving it 4 stars at the moment because a can of this stuff is almost the same price as an 8 ounce can of the more well known brand but only holds 4.2 ounces, about half the…
