Type of review

Excellent tires, took 2 years ago, skated about 60 thousand. Not a single spike fell out! Very quiet, friends who ride with me in the winter promise themselves next season "also take Velcro" :) They are very surprised when they find out about the spikes. The road is well kept, for 2 winters I have not experienced any discomfort at all. Former tires were Pirelli SottoZero, like Velcro, but heaven and earth.

Pros
  • Very quiet, excellent behavior, both on ice and snow, strong spikes.
Cons
  • No

Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

Bought on January 28th. To replace Gislaved the 5th. R15 185/65. Skated 5 winters on the Gislaved. Bud didn't know. But, nothing lasts forever and he is pretty worn out. I read the tests, decided to take this model. Skated 2 days in the city. Everything has melted, there is no ice, but there are a lot of pits . in one of them I damaged the tire. My work is traveling, the gislaved has seen not such pits. The tire is very light, compared to the Gislav, the sidewalls are thin. Hoping for an…

Pros
  • It performs very well in the snow. Including wet. I am adding. 12.04 Winter is over. Tires are very decent, on ice, rides great! Confidently rode the rest of the winter, all the spikes are in place.
Cons
  • Noise. At city speeds of 40-60 just a rumble and howls. Very soft side. Very! After hitting a small hole, he broke through the sidewall in 2 places. No hum after 100 :)

I'm amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

Just great tires for the money. Before that, there was Hakka 4, which still seems to be okay on ice, but it’s generally bad on snow. There are no such problems here. The tires row both in deep loose snow and are stable on bare ice. I drove them until the 20th of April, as they say - before melting, I was pleasantly surprised when I examined all the tires and not a single spike flew out, moreover, the spikes practically did not lose their shape, despite the fact that I drove naked for almost 2…

Pros
  • Ideal for both ice and snow, very soft, large deep tread, best value for money.
Cons
  • Did not reveal

At one time I chose between Hakka 8 and this model, but the difference for the set turned out to be about 16,000, then there was no extra money ((Rubber is on Tiguan with his wife (235 / 55R17), Tiguan's sound insulation is not bad, but on this rubber in the car on a distinct rumble is heard on dry pavement, at first there was Hakka 5 on my car, now Hakka 7, on the same track in the Opel Astra (penultimate generation) there is less noise. 5". I was driving around the city in the left lane for…

Pros
  • Stable and reliable Rowing confidently in deep snow Accelerates well enough on snow and asphalt Very good brakes in almost all conditions Good (not great) directional stability
Cons
  • When cornering on packed snow, it can go into a sharp demolition noisy

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

shod in it in October, at first it buzzed, then it became quieter. studded at the factory, which is no doubt a plus! one spike was lost during the winter. Satisfied with the choice, ice, slush, ice water, rows like a tractor in a straight line, but skidding is possible more accurately in corners.

Not the best quality, but overall not bad.

Traveled: 60% highway, 40% city; 60% asphalt, 40% snow cover. The speed on the highway is not more than 105 km / h. On the road, they are quite stable, if you do not sharply maneuver. They slow down predictably, but you still need to take into account the traffic conditions. I rolled 1000 km at a speed of no more than 80 km / h, did not brake sharply, did not start, tried not to turn the steering wheel on the spot. Impression - tires are mediocre, I will not recommend to friends. Compared with…

Pros
  • First season. The term of operation is October-April. 1. Not a single spike flew out. 2. Hitting the pits withstood well - without consequences. I did not catch killer pits. 3. Holds the road well on asphalt, on fresh snow, and on recently rolled snow.
Cons
  • 1. Completely unpredictable in rut - both ice and asphalt. 2. Frost, rolled ice keeps C grade. 3. Once noticeably pulled to the side on a slightly curved road in a straight section with icing.

This is an update to the review that was performed on December 31, 2022. This will be my second winter running. The excitement that accompanied first impressions shortly after the purchase has largely dissipated. Rowing is a great sport that can be done on any surface because to its many benefits. After last winter (15000 kilometers in St. Petersburg) I didn't lose a single spike, but . During the first month, I punctured two wheels by making side cuts; one of the wheels was repaired, while the

Pros
  • Grip on each surface you encounter. Extremely hardy and sturdy spines.
Cons
  • Very weak sidewalls and dislikes rutting

Tire rating 4.7 size 185/65 R15 bought in autumn 2022 (Elantra XD car). Rubber for driving on any surface. Rides well on asphalt, dry or wet. It drives straight ahead confidently without steering, reacts poorly to asphalt adhesives, holds it in corners to the last, but with excessive zeal, the rear axle breaks. It rows well in snow and slush, it is also good on ice, but I expected it to be better. He does not like side slips, so cornering on snow can only be done with an open throttle (the…

Pros
  • quite soft, rowing in the snow well, the spikes are evenly distributed over the area, quiet, slows down well.
Cons
  • bare thorns

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

Changed to winter boots today. Therefore, the review is only for one day of operation on asphalt (I will supplement as winter comes) Chevrolet Aveo t250 car. I took the wheels 185/65 R14 for 2470. After tire fitting, having driven on asphalt, I was pleasantly surprised by its noise. I expected after the reviews that there would be a strong helicopter rumble. Just that winter I had a VAZ 21099 and the new 2022 Metelitsa. That's where the rumble duck rumble stood. Feels like the rubber is soft.

Pros
  • Quiet, easy handling
Cons
  • Until I discovered

It was a bad idea to buy this, money wasted.

THIS IS A TIRESIZE THAT I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE! There was no need for me to make any adjustments to what I tried out on myself and in the time (Nokian hazard). My last vehicle was equipped with winter tires, which I donated to a charity when I sold it. It was estimated that there would be enough rubber for a few more seasons, and that 80 percent of the spikes would still be there. Different pros: After investing in a brand-new automobile, I found myself in the position of having to…

Excellent product, the best quality.

Excellent tires! Holds any type of coatings. In terms of coupling properties, it is on a par with 7 khaka, but that one is no longer produced. A friend skated one set and took it again. I ride season 3 - very satisfied. It is quieter than khaki 7, snows better, cheaper than 8 and 9, more stable than michelin x ice nord, not as oaky as bridgestone. In my opinion the best offer in terms of price / ride quality

Pros
  • Holds up well on any road. It doesn’t pull away in a rut, it doesn’t float on asphalt, hydroplaning is not scary, the snow is excellent, the ice holds. Not noisy. Nice unusual drawing. Adequate price. Production Poland. Suitable for active (and even aggressive) driving. Allows you to go faster than the flow in difficult conditions
Cons
  • No driving faults found.

A great option for this money, one of the best offers.

Before the winter frosts, I went out and purchased and put these tires on my own vehicle. I did a lot of my research online and read customer evaluations. They wrote that this tire was very noisy, that it is badly balanced, that when driving it plis (pronounced "soft"), and that the spikes fell out until it was brought to the tire fitting. Already based on the circumstances of my own life, I can confidently assert that all of this is a lie. I purchased it, took it to a tire fitting where not a…

Pros
  • Price. Stability on icy and snowy surfaces.
Cons
  • Undetected. You need to take into account the weather conditions and the fact that it is not summer.

Auto LEXUS RX 400h, and a total of 25 years of driving experience. I have been driving a Nokian Hakkapeliitta for the past ten years, but I recently upgraded to a Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice Arctic 235/55/18. If I'm being completely honest, I do not regret the money I paid on the upgrade and I thoroughly liked driving over snow drifts and bare asphalt. It is important to remember that in this size, the tires come from Germany, where they are imported. When I went to put the old Nokian in the trunk,

Pros
  • On the road, it is comfortable, light, and adequate.
Cons
  • Not able to locate.

Good value for money, I recommend it.

The focus 2 r15 I bought yesterday. The tire's heaviness was the first thing I noticed when I brought it home from the store. I took it to a tire shop I'm familiar with, and the results of the balance test on two tires were appalling, while the results on the other two were fine. We'll just chalk it up to spikes, but there's a deep rumble on the pavement. It's fine to roll and turn at a normal rate, however the prior Velcro had lower numbers. Otherwise, you're doing a 4+ on dry pavement in…

Pros
  • Excellent traction on ice for both speeding up and slowing down. Superb grip on the snow. The brakes work well on asphalt. Works well in wintry conditions.
Cons
  • road traffic sounds. On the street, you understeer.

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

I use the 4th season, radius R15. Dignity: allows you to stop on bare ice (although the braking distance is longer than usual, no one has canceled the laws of physics). I recommend it for calm drivers (i. E., those who comply with traffic rules 10.1). At the same time, rubber saves from unexpected, unrecognized conditions such as ice or rolling in front of a traffic light.

Pros
  • Benefits of Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice Arctic tires: 1) excellent traction on deep, freshly fallen or melted snow, due to the lamellas, the entire area captures snow or mud. In the snow, the car is completely obedient at low and medium speeds (up to 60 km / h). 2) on a very slippery road (thawed snow outside the city, rolling in front of a traffic light) due to the spikes and front-wheel drive, the rubber has good handling, but slows down in accordance with the quality of the surface (the braking distance increases by 2 times, only the spikes save). Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice Arctic wheels in this situation ask for cold-blooded actions (do not turn the steering wheel sharply, keep the trajectory, do not throw the gas pedal, especially do not slow down in a turn). But this is an extreme case of a speed selection error (see clause 10.1 of the SDA !). In any case, it is better to slow down before the turn than to have a drift of the front axle. 3) on asphalt, braking is the same as on "summer" (I had to stop due to an accident in front from 110 to 0 km/h in the left lane of the Ring Road with smoke, but without consequences). Works great in the off season. 4) wear-resistant base of square spikes. Good tenon retention for 2 years. During the year, no more than 3 spikes fell out, despite the fact that there were all sorts of cases. 5) high load capacity index: 91 versus 88 for competitors. Relevant for vans, etc. I keep 2.4 / 2.6 atmospheres according to my passport.
Cons
  • 1) It is possible to slip the drive axle when starting off on dry pavement. Especially, when "rolling" the spikes for the first 2022 km. 2) It is possible to block the wheels during heavy braking (ABS is activated). So you need to avoid gross errors in the choice of speed. 3) Be careful with the track - the vehicle may slip into a hollow. 4) The noise is not deafening, but noticeable after the summer. 5) Significant loss of studs on one of the axles after 3 seasons.

Front-wheel drive puzoterku turned into an all-terrain vehicle this winter)) got out everywhere. On automatic transmission. I bought in November 2022 2820r for a wheel 195 / 65R15 + got on the action "tire fitting as a gift from GoodYear" - generally chocolate). Definitely recommend! Has pros: Excellent hold on any winter surface. predictable behavior. Comfortable - the noise is not annoying compared to cheap tires like Amtel (they stood the previous winter - they rowed well, but everyone was

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

Auto Toyota Corolla Runx yuzaet mom for the first year. For a long time I chose, searched, compared, worried about how to move more confidently, I was not mistaken with the choice and I was never disappointed. In the autumn in the morning on the first ice as in summer, I even went out and checked, "ICE" could not resist, but at least she would have something, acceleration, braking, overtaking, turns, from rut to rut without surprises, everything was clearly and confidently knocked down. I took…

Pros

The product sucks and the quality is terrible.

I bought tires at the end of October 2022. After 2 months of careful use (1-2 trips a week and a run of about 1500 km), on 01/01/2022 one and 4 tires burst on the go, while driving on a flat road (on a highway in Hong Kong) from permitted speed. The wheel had to be changed on the side of the road (knee-deep in dirty snow). The guarantee that they allegedly give was denied, the manufacturer could not be reached by phone. It is also impossible to find such tires for replacement (nowhere in the…

Pros
  • The tire is light, grip is good.
Cons
  • Unreliable. Use dangerous to life and wallet

Periodically, a small vibration appears, you have to go for balancing 2 times during the winter. The last time they found breakdowns to the court on 3 wheels and in several places. I drove 80% - a track with different quality of coverage, a calm driving style, I don’t rush through the pits. Bottom line - the rubber is very soft, suitable only for a city with good roads.

Pros
  • spikes sit tight
Cons
  • very soft

Disgusting, dissatisfied with the purchase.

I don't leave reviews. but could not resist for the sake of this rubber to come here, not too lazy. my mileage: 1) on the kontik (Peugeot winter-summer) in the amount of 30-40k km 2) on kumho (xtrail) in the amount of 30-40k km 3) Pirelli (motorcycle) 15k Km On each of these machines and, accordingly, rubber, I knocked solidly around Hong Kong, on the wad and motik, in general, there were square wheels and never, there were no punctures or breaks. On good year, 215/50 17, in the first…

Pros
  • good traffic, quiet
Cons
  • floats away during acceleration (250 hp) On a rut throws like a trough
