I purchased this Motorcycle Carrier for my 2016 Yamaha FJR1300A which weighs in just under 600 lbs. After reading reviews, I knew there may be an issue carrying its specified weight (600 lbs) so I tried to take precautions when loading and unloading by putting additional supports under front and rear where the carrier is most vulnerable because it doesn't have reinforcements in those 2 areas. I have 2 other friends that have this carrier, which prompted me to get it. It’s very sturdy and holds my dirt bike perfectly. I like this model for the wheel chock and tie down points. The shipment came in 2 boxes about a week apart. I sent the seller a message because I was concerned and they were very prompt to get back to me. I’m happy with my purchase.

I’m a structural engineer and fabricator, this carrier is very beefy. It has 1/8” thick steel ramp, tie down bars, and angle iron bracing welded underneath. The receiver tube is 3/16” thick, the wheel chock and gusset plate are 1/4” thick. Mine has a weld missing on one corner of the angle iron under framing, and the weight of this carry is very heavy to lift, but doable for middle aged man, not doable by the wife. Mounted this on back of motorhome with Class 3, 500 lb. hitch capacity. Did a 2500 mile trip from Florida thru Michigan on some very rough interstates hauling a 250 lb Suzuki DR 200. Minimum wobble and held up well. Powder coating thin in some spots and starting to rust. Not sure about a heavier bike. Purchased knowing the 600lb rating was over rated, however, I've seen way too many bikes 'slumping' because of thin gauge steel or bent receiver hitches going down I70 in Colorado. As most of the reviews state, it is heavy. Of course it is. Very sturdy and quickly assembled.It's very heavy so helps to have another person but it's doable by yourself.Carry a 300+ lb Vespa scooter on it for trips without any issues. Pushing the bike up onto the ramp and stand can be challenging to do alone. Recommended another person around to help.

I like that it was fairly easy to assemble but it arrived in two separate shipments on different days and the 2nd box containing the front tire clamp arrived damaged and was missing 3 nuts which I had to first find and purchase separately from hardware store. Luckily the parts itself was not damaged other then a small dent. Overall this is a good buy.
