I don't know how I lived without a foam cannon. now needed

Every time I do home renovations I seal my work with excellent foam. Our electricity bills are smaller, there is less dust in the house and there are fewer scorpions in the house. With this gun, installing foam becomes an easy task. No more dirty disposable glasses. I keep a loaded foam gun on hand for any job, big or small. I clean my pistol tip with Dow acetone spray after each use. Professional grade foam cans will last months on this gun. Never clogs.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Thing is way better than using cheap cans

Thing is way better than using cheap cans. It's also a great value if you use a lot of construction glue. You can glue an entire house together for $100. I can spend $500 on regular tube glue and it will run out before I finish the project. If you use a cleaner, it's acetone that works great. However, after you remove the cartridges, it is actually still pressurized inside the gun, like a bullet left in the chamber. I accidentally shot a mixture of acetone and glue in my face and eyes. it hurts

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • No instructions

Save your money, the recoil spring never fully returns

I clean my gun after every use. Still looks minty. And I pass my own cleaner, when I push the handle it doesn't come back, it gets stuck and still pours out foam. What a mess. I bought this to cover some windows I was replacing thinking it would be cheaper but no. I've only used it a few times in less than a year and now every time I stop spraying I have to turn the knob to the closed position as fast as possible to stop the spraying. I put your vacuum in the slot and tried to open it to clean…

Professional quality foam gun

A friend of mine is a contractor who recommended these for sealing air gaps in my exterior walls. It has a dial to control how much material is deposited so you can really take in that ball of foam you leave behind. I left it with a can of low expansion foam for a few weeks and was able to pick it up again and use it again. The trigger was a little tight, but a hard pull on the trigger released the gun. It can be a little awkward to shake the foam canister while the gun is attached to it, but…

Excellent performance. I wish the tip was serrated.

Should have gotten it sooner! Great control over foam ball size compared to single use glass and straw combos with very little waste. The included narrow tips are optional and cause more "leak after loosening". My friend has an old model with a jagged tip versus the current smooth tip. A serrated tip allows you to attach a tube to direct foam into tight corners, which is not possible with the current model's nozzle design. On the plus side, the current design is easier to clean. Tip: Do not…

Good control, low foam waste

I used this foam gun for filling cracks great stuff. I added insulation board and used it to seal the cracks and seams. Before that I used smaller foam cans with plastic sprayers. The screw knob to control the foam ejection speed works great. It's also nice to be able to keep the spray gun attached to your gun for a few days between uses. If you change the can immediately, you don't have to use a cleaner in between. But if the can is off for more than a few seconds, the foam can congeal in the…

Works well - more accessories would be great

So far so good, but I haven't checked the expiration date on an opened can. However, it's much more controllable than a bank - sort of bigger. If you have a lot of areas to treat that would benefit from thinner or at least the same size beads, this will save you a lot of spray foam compared to traditional cans. What needs improvement/additions: * A hard (or even soft) case would be great. Add it and charge an additional $10-15*. Hose adapter kit for hard-to-reach areas. This pistol fits in…
