I bought these boots because my dog had a very sore bunion and he wouldn't stop licking it. They fit her well and it helped keep her tongue off the sore spot. After a few days, however, BOTH boots were badly worn down. I don't feel they have held up very well for the price. I am also a little disappointed that it was not possible to contact the seller for this item.

High wear resistance. Velcro is best. I even had to work hard to take them off! We ended up getting large front paws and xlarge for back paws on a 100 lb dog/German Shepherd mix. Works great outdoors on concrete, turf and dirt. The neoprene style fabric dried so quickly when wet and no dirt built up on it. Perfect for my dog after paw surgery to remove a tumor between his toes! I originally used them over their bandages and bandages (like a cast) when taking them outside to the potty or to the vet (several times) and later used them with gauze pads when the bandages were no longer needed. First of all I want to say that these are therapeutic booties, not your everyday ones, take your dog with you all day long as they will not withstand such use. The bottom covers wear out pretty quickly, but the neoprene shoes themselves are actually pretty durable. Overall I like them and my Rotties have no problem wearing them once they get used to them. We have a dog with severe allergies and sometimes this allergy = excessive paw chewing. Since we don't want her living in the cone, we sometimes use booties to protect her legs from herself. Ordered a medium size for our 63 lb Weimeraner. She has graceful legs compared to, say, a German shepherd; not so wide and flat. Of course I was concerned about the size, but I used the chart as a guide. The boots arrived today and out of the box they looked about an inch wider than her paw. I figured they would show up in no time. NOT CORRECT! I am more than satisfied with these boots. They all announce, and then some. 1) Very easy and quick to put on. 2) Do not twist during use or during use.
