Not very satisfied for my opinion

My biggest complaint is that the material "pills" and it makes the item look dirty. Plus I hate having all those little nubbies on items. The heat does help relieve the pain but it doesn't seem to hold the heat in for too long. I would also like if the item was longer so it would hang better (say on your knee) without falling off but I did know the size when I ordered it so it's not their fault.

Pros
  • MOIST HEAT THERAPY: The unique microwave-activated heating pad conforms to the body and provides deep-penetrating, effective pain relief while maintaining consistent heat distribution. There are no wires, no waiting, no water and no mess. Just fast acting, natural pain relief.
Cons
  • May not be long enough to cover the entire abdominal, back or hip area

Best heat pack I've ever found!

The only heat pack that's ever worked for me. I've used it for things from neck and back pain to cramps to migraines and even post C-section recovery. I've yet to find another heat pack that is able to get *anywhere near* as hot as I need it. I go through these faster than most people because I microwave it on high for 2 minutes each time and use it 3 to 4 times a day, minimum. One lasts me roughly 3 to 6 months lol But I'm putting them through the ringer!I'd say if you're looking for something

Pros
  • Absolutely love this heating pad, used on any part of the body for ache muscles or stiff neck.
Cons
  • Cannot be used for too long or too frequently, as it may cause skin irritation or burns

Stays hot for a very long time

Like the weight of the pad and that it adds moisture to the heat. Used it on cold nights, it would still warn in the morning if you kept it close to your person. Relieves pain and makes you feel dreamy. Heats quickly. Makes a good gift.

Pros
  • Instant relief from pain and stiffness in joints caused by arthritis
Cons
  • Cannot be used on open wounds or broken skin

moist heat for strained muscles and other soft tissues

One minute in a microwave provides 20 -30 minutes of comfort without any mess or fuss. We have more than one of these pads all in different sizes for different body areas. Following my knee replacements and the initial icing period these pads have provided relief during my strengthening time. Should be on the short list. These are very durable, too.

Pros
  • Can be used to improve the immune system in conjunction with other therapies
Cons
  • May be too hot or uncomfortable to use during hot weather or summer months
