    Too bad about the quality. for spare parts

    I received the product but upon inspection I found that it was broken, ie there was no spring pressing the brush to the generator rotor. The item will be returned.

    OEM quality for your Volvo 240

    Almost an OEM replacement for my 1993 Volvo 240. It says Made in China. Well, don't let that put you off. I've had "German" ESCs on remanufactured Bosch alternators that look worse. GOODBYE!

    Doesn't work well with voltage regulators

    Too late to return. It was better than the last one I replaced but the battery is still dying and I tested it and it was confirmed that the voltage regulator is not good enough. I will switch to Bosch as everyone has said. Try to save some money. In the end, it takes a lot more time and effort.

    This regulator saved me a lot of money!

    This regulator saved me a lot of money! The alternator did not have to be removed to replace the regulator. After this new one was installed, my car's charging system was fine again! It took me about 10 minutes to uninstall the old one and install this one. I highly recommend it. Still works perfectly after 6 months and many kilometers.

    Cheap insurance. replace yours!

    I have a 1991 300e. This is a common problem area on these cars. I swapped it out as a precaution. Of course, about 80% of the old one was used up. Currently. "Made in China" is written on it. oooh, that's not my favorite thing to do. but that's the easy part. I think everything will be fine. I'm just a mechanic. I installed it without elevator, it's not easy to get there. but not too hard. I recommend replacing these things before they fail. Cheap insurance.

    Fixed intermittent electrical issues.

    Just installed this on my 1988 Mercedes 300E with 147,000 miles. I decided to replace the voltage regulator because I had intermittent electrical issues such as: B. a jumping fuel quantity needle. As you can see in the photo, the old governor brushes are worn out. A NOTICE. I didn't have to remove the alternator to replace the regulator, but I did disconnect the negative battery cable, which should be done.
