That's nonsense!: Testing, measuring & inspecting

You should read the reviews before buying. The suitcase was broken when it arrived. It's made of cheap MDF material and the side has fallen off. The blocks look as expected and are compressed together. I needed the blocks for installation otherwise I would have sent them back and bought something better. I glued the side back but I suspect I'll be regluing all the pieces soon.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • I don't remember

The box is crap. for calibration

They seem good quality and accurate for my cheap calibers so that's good. The "wooden" box is promotional and did not come in one, two or three pieces. It was completely destroyed and the caliber blocks were lost in cardboard. It comes with a tray that might have fit in the box but I didn't know so I was able to quickly deduce that all the pieces were there. If they leave a lame box, it should be sent in a plastic bag, it was dumb luck, nothing is lost.

Pros
  • Check, measure and check
Cons
  • Long delivery time

For me as a carpenter maybe a bit exaggerated. It was purchased to help with vehicle tuning. The product arrived halfway around the world (Western Australia) in perfect condition. It might seem odd to buy a set of imperial measuring blocks to use in a country that has been using the metric system for about 30 years, but most tools in the woodworking world are still rooted in the imperial system. Milling cutters and saw blades are almost without exception imperial. The only exception I've found…

Pros
  • Dimensional calibration
Cons
  • Very expensive
