Hillman Group 852393 Door Knocker Review

Peephole and Hammer = 4 stars. NO SUBMISSION = -1 star. Works great but if I hadn't done this type of homeowning job before I could imagine the door would be ruined. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO MAKE AND ENCLOSURE A CARDBOARD OR PAPER TEMPLATE? sorry for screaming Great product but prepare to install if you don't do this often.

The one I received was beautifully made and moderately heavy. The viewer's gaze is wide and clear. I installed it to replace a previous hammer that didn't have an eye. A few tips: The step drill is very handy, especially when installed in a steel door. This way you can jump bigger and bigger without smashing the door to pieces. Also, if you have a steel door, have a vacuum handy as chunks of styrofoam are likely scattered everywhere.

This door knocker is pretty much a clone of the knocker on my door that I had to replace which we were given as a gift. The assembly has posts that act as posts to push holes through your door. I was hoping this was the exact form factor so I wouldn't have to re-drill the holes, but luckily for my old hammer the holes were 1/8" further apart. By simply plugging one of the holes I was able to jump right over it drilled a new hole to ensure a perfect fit for this hammer. The new hammer has turned
