Not very happy with this kit. The bristles are poorly attached. I repainted my kitchen table with these brushes. Some time after coming back to check the PU coating I noticed there were about 4-5 bristles left on the table. This was the first time I've repainted the table and the table was a dark brown which hid it unless you were looking at an angle. I went and bought a more expensive single brush that didn't have these issues. Depending on the job the bristle loss might not be such a big deal

These brushes aren't top quality, but at this price you shouldn't expect that either. They are actually better than what I expected. I used them to stain wood and touch up walls. They work well and only occasionally shed bristles. I mean every now and then. I've used cheap wall brushes in the past and it was like a dog shed on the wall, I plucked so many bristles out of the paint. I really expected these brushes to be like this. Not so! If you're looking for a decent set of cheap brushes that don't turn out like an anemic cat's fur these are reasonable prices. They can be reused, but for the most part I think they were only designed for water cleaning (water based latex and latex varnishes). I used them on an oil based primer and lacquer gloss and they did what I wanted. I expected them to fall apart, but they didn't. However, they did not survive the entire project in usable condition, so they can be thrown away unless…
