🔌 Hitachi 308506 Dust Collection Adapter: A Perfect Fit for C10FSH, C8FB2, C10FCH, C12FSA, C12LCH, and C15FB Compound Miter Saws Review

I just wanted to be able to connect my 27mm Festool CT hose to my miter saw. Fits like a glove without modifying the saw and CT hose. It's fairly flexible, but if you press the wide end firmly against the sawdust hole, the narrow end doesn't flex enough to block airflow with the hose attached.

I have a Metabo (Hitachi Power Tools) 10" 2 piece miter saw that doesn't have a vacuum nozzle assembly and I can't find one online find one that fits my saw, but this one looked like it might work. Don't go, so I'm stuck with a pathetic little bag dangling from the manifold. I would still like to find a suitable distributor nozzle for the device, but not yet. However, the saw is AMAZING - and I still have all my fingers. (:-) Seriously, unless you're REALLY STUPID, it sure is. Handling this saw

I ordered this adapter to go with the Hitachi miter saw dust bag. After using both, it turned out that while this product holds dust quite well, it works no better than a collection bag and costs about 40 percent less. I have found that attaching an industrial vacuum hose to a saw with this adapter takes up significantly more desk space, is more cumbersome to use and requires turning the vacuum on and off. Definitely worth the price if you don't have other options, but the bag is cheaper, less…
