Not Durable Enough for Trailers

Based on our own experience, this product failed to withstand the wear and tear of being used on a trailer. The waterproof feature was a plus but ultimately useless when the connector corroded and stopped working.

Before you start, take a look around.

A very tedious assembly process, but if you have the patience, attention to detail, and skill, you will be able to do it. No instructions so take your time to understand the different parts and how they must work in order to work.

Useful for DIY projects

I've bought these several times and found them very useful for some Raspberry Pi projects where I'm constantly moving things and don't want to be constantly unscrewing individual connectors. The assembly process can be a bit tedious, but the convenience of possible mis-wiring afterwards is all but eliminated. I usually crimp the rubber boot onto the terminal first and then crimp the conductive part. The rubber boot usually needs to be tucked into the hole as it fits snugly. It behaves like a…
