I stopped using this product because my door was ripped open. My floor under the door is a bit uneven, so the door gap gets smaller when I open the door. Because of what was happening at my door, I couldn't block nearly as much of my gap as I wanted without the product dragging across my floor, which I didn't want. I have provided a before and after photo of an interior door that was in dire need of repairs. Some time ago I had to remove the panel below because the door always stuck down when opened. It stuck to the skin so it helped remove it but left an unsightly appearance when the door was closed. I always intended to paint it but I've lived in this house for five years and as you can see it never got finished. I hate drawing, that might be the reason. I attached this to a wooden door and it works great. An excellent seal that completely blocks drafts. What is important to note about all of these door seals is how they attach to the door itself. If the gasket is fitted so that it actually touches the floor and not slightly above it, then every time you open and close the door there will be a shearing force on where the door and gasket attach.
