Holley 37 1542 Vacuum Secondary Kit Review

Bought a long time ago. The carburetor is still sitting torn because only one cup gasket came with the kit. However, I used the remaining spacers that were provided for assembly and they fit well. The kit I received is missing only one shell liner.

The kit includes parts for a variety of Holleycarb models with no parts list to determine which to use. For example, two pairs of needles and seats were provided that look the same but are marked with different part numbers. Holley's website was useless in determining what to use for my application, so I had to guess.

I gave this product two stars because it was a little below average but still quite disappointing. Holly needs to reevaluate her kits because Fast Fuel and pretty much everyone else makes better kits for the same price. This is a Holly secondary vacuum carburetor kit, so you may have thought it had a vacuum secondary diaphragm, but you were wrong. Order a Quickfuel 3-200 or AED equivalent for a higher quality seal.
